I stopped by this place for lunch to try the combo pod - which is basically a combination of a kathi roll and a rice dish

starting with the kathi roll (ie: roll pod), I wasn't a huge fan of it. the roti on the outside was cooked well, and had a nice browning to it, but I thought the filling
was kind of lacking. I had the chicken masala filling - and it had a bit of a weird taste to it. the chicken felt really dry, and none of the other fillings did anything to really complement it.

however, i did enjoy the rice pod much more. the basmati rice was cooked really well - super aromatic, and not dry. the tomato gravy was rich, creamy, and flavorful - it provided excellent mouthfeel to each bite - to the point where I was pretty happy even on bites that didn't include any protein. The portion size of this also felt a good amount better than what was given in the rice pod. For the filling, I opted for the mutton masala here - and I definitely could feel the spice emanating from the marinated meat. the pieces of mutton used were also pretty large. Liked this dish a lot

For the price, this combination is pretty expensive - coming in at around $18. It's a decent portion, but it's not quite enough for 2 meals - maybe 1 1/2.

Overall, the namesake roll is a miss, but the rice pod is some actually quite good Indian food. 7.75/10

Mutton masala slapped.
Spice level 2 has some actual heat on it unlike most things in the US.
Spice level 5 might send you to another planet.

The spicy potato roll is the bomb, and in general I like their vegetarian options a lot more. Free green chutneys is a blessing, service is quick and prices are reasonable.

As an indian feel sorry and ashamed for this guy.He refused to entertain Sonny from Best ever food review show when he was doing a food review, plus his rolls are overpriced and mutton smell like rotten Lamb fat.Avoid it and lets hope this guy goes bankrupt. As an Indian I am sorry for this pathetic business.Never ever go there.

I am bit of a snob when it come to Indian food, especially street food. I have had some tasty kathi rolls in the past. These rolls are pretty tasty. We tried the achari aloo, paneer chilli, and chana masala - all tasty. Paneer chili was quite spicy so if u want it milder go lower than default.Would recommend going early to avoid lunch rush and have maximum options of flavours. Price could be a little lower, but everything is expensive now so not surprised considering its between amazon offices.
