Last year, this was my favorite food option on campus. They had hot food options that were actually pretty health-conscious and appetizing. That's all gone now, and they now only offer the same mini-mart fare that you can get at a bunch of other places on campus. I wouldn't have minded if they'd just raised the prices, but instead they've taken away essentially everything that made this place worth going to. I'm still processing the sting of the disappointment from trying to go here last month after not having been in a while. It's a real shame.

When they first reopened, I ate here for lunch almost every workday, the quality of the food and proximity to my job made it an easy decision even if it was a bit pricey.

What the hell happened? Earlier this year the prices spiked *dramatically*, the two sides deal went away, and the food itself became wildly inconsistent. It's as if the same dish is being prepared in a completely different way each day. The mac and cheese alternates between being counted as a side or a separate "soup" with no clear pattern. Rolls and some sides are often missing altogether. A meal that cost $14-16 several months ago will now $22-25. Beverages that are $2.50 at the vending machines ten feet away are sold at something like $3.80.

The service is still very good but I can't begin to understand the decisions being made higher up the ladder, it's to the point that I'll sometimes settle for a protein bar and yogurt for lunch instead of paying for the food.

Depressing compared to its old days, no hot food, and insanely overpriced. Want a prepackaged sandwich for over 12$? Or how about some soup from a bag? Might as well walk up the Ave to get something cheaper that’s made in competition, not this corporate slop shop.

It used to be one of the only places to eat lunch on this part of campus that served hot food. A week ago they switched to pre-packaged foods only that are not great and overpriced. Disappointing.

Rudest barista ever at the coffee stand. I just asked for a cup for drip coffee and so the guy at the front gives me a cup and does not give me a lid. So I get a lid myself after filling my cup with drip coffee and another barista snaps at me for grabbing my lid because I am spreading germs. I mean I get it but first if you did not want me to grab a lid then you should have given me one in the first place. Second you don't need to be so rude to me and snap at me. Ughh will not be back here again if the guy with the glasses and ponytail is working again.

This place has gone really downhill. It’s nothing but packaged foods now. I miss the real food that was made in front of your face and made to order. And it’s way too expensive. I can’t pay $15 for a soup and soda.

Someone help these children, or hire adults. Uw’s cost cutting knows no bounds.
