Swanky upscale vibe. Fantastic staff and layout

This is a super place for a unique event experience. The rooms are versatile and decorated with murals on the walls and ceiling. There is nothing like it anywhere. The visitor is greeted with a ruinous dreary front facade to be surprised by the elaborate decor, inside, a feast for the eyes. Check out their website.

Friendly servers who accommodated us when we showed up a couple minutes before opening; nice drinks; good salmon dip; and a lovely ambiance with quirky and elegant decor. Also a little fireplace made it cozy on a rainy Seattle night :)

I was at The Ruins for a wedding recently and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and the venue was very cool and unique. I’d describe the aesthetic as eclectic and maybe even a little eccentric. Overall I’d definitely recommend it.

Wedding Venue - very unique, caterers were ill prepared. The site was kitchy!

Hidden jewel in Seattle in which we spent a society-sponsored event. Externally, the place is almost not recognizable as a desirable entry. But the inside was a mixture of castle and theater place. Cool and an unparalleled option to sit down and spend chatting with friends and colleagues. I am not sure whether the food was created there or catered to the place.

Beautiful venue and beautiful sunsets we where the production company for a wedding there and the staff was fantastic and everyone had a good time the only downside is you have to keep the volume kind of on the low side due to neighbors complaining but for an intimate party it is perfect, would definitely return to that place

Disgusting behind the scenes. Fifteen plus year facility is in total disrepair. Housekeeping is a concept lost on this group. The food I saw and tasted was also disgusting. I suspect they count on the fact that your probably already buzzed by now, and don't mind the crap they are serving you. The shitty well liquor they present, and the mandated ounce and a half pours make for some pretty terrible drinks as well. The staff are dour, back-stabby, worried more about spying and narcing on their co-workers then they are about you. It's obvious no one there is truly in love with their job and that could care less about the client so long as the check clears.

I attended a beautiful wedding at The Ruins. The staff were friendly, professional, and very unobtrusive while managing to get everything done.

I came here for a wedding and at first look parking outside the venue - I was very confused and thought I was at the wrong place. After figuring out I wasn't and opened the door - it is literally like walking into another universe just simply by opening the door. Every room is different with its own art style. Lighting was exceptional with all the windows drawing in the outside light. It is very beautiful to have a small wedding here.

I haven't been to The Ruins in a long time now, but what I always enjoyed was that it was always acceptable for guests to talk about the elephant in the room while dining.

Elegant. Beautiful decor. Fantastic catering. Been here twice in 2022. One event for my mom's memorial. It was not cheap but absolutely worth it as we were not up for organizing. The second event was a company holiday party. Was just as delightful.

Interior is beautiful. The area that the building is located leaves a lot to be desired.
