Shambles is a hidden gem in the north Seattle area. It has a low key street front presence in an area where one would not necessarily suspect a restaurant to be. Honestly, I had driven by many, many times without ever even noticing this place. I only learned of it when meeting for a group dinner with some friends over a year ago. It was certainly nice enough. I liked the more casual atmosphere. The steak was decent though I felt it was overpriced for the quality. Maybe I was just unlucky with my 12oz ribeye but I don't think I would go back. The mushroom side was absolutely delicious though.

Tl/dr: Unpretentious steakhouse.

Recently discovered this hidden gem in the Mapleleaf area of town. Made a reservation and wasn't sure if we needed to dress up or not.

Arrived to a very warm welcome, and lo-fi hip hop beats. Our servers were super friendly, knowlegable and were humorous. The vibe here is eat well, your'e going to be taken care of.

We just found our new favorite place for enjoying a very nice meal...
