It honestly feels like the owner is desperately trying to rebuild the business’s reputation after the sexual harassment scandal involving his niece just two months ago. Suddenly there’s a wave of positive reviews and promotional posts, as if everyone is supposed to forget what happened overnight.
What makes this even more upsetting is the attitude behind it. Instead of taking real accountability and showing genuine remorse, it seems like he believes people are naïve — that customers are stupid and will simply move on if enough good reviews are pushed out.
But some of us remember. Trust isn’t something you can repair with marketing tactics or a flood of five-star ratings. It takes honesty, responsibility, and real change. Until that happens, no amount of reputation “clean-up” will make this right.
I’ve been going to The Station for three years. It’s always my first stop when I travel to Seattle, which I do multiple times a year. It’s so accessible, take the light rail to Beacon Hill and it’s right there. When you arrive, you are greeted by one of the amazing staff ready to take your order, or one of the owners, Luís or Leona. I always order an americano or loose leaf tea, followed by a breakfast sandwich (swine free!), and a local sourced pastry. The place has the aesthetic of a social justice oriented space with the vibes of a business that allows patrons to work on their laptops too. I wish every city has a coffee shop as dope as The Station.

I’ve been a longtime customer at the station. I enjoy the vibe and the music there. I don’t live in the neighborhood anymore, but I still make my way over there when I’m nearby. The owner is really nice and she makes the best lattes. Highly recommend the D’Angelo brown sugar latte and the Bagel Breakfast Delight.

I used to go to The Station frequently. I cannot support this business any longer knowing how one of the owners treats women and customers. The baristas provided good service at least. Hopefully they aren’t too negatively impacted by the owners’ poor decisions.

Both the mid breakfast sandwiches and coffee are overpriced at this establishment. There is also often a guy sitting at the bar area who makes me feel uncomfortable.

As someone with a severe almond allergy, I cannot recommend this place more. They take my allergy seriously, and clean all of the equipment necessary for making my drink safely. I was told this is standard procedure for them. I’ve struggled with safely ordering coffee drinks in the past due to cross contamination with almond milk, and this means the world to me. It’s good to feel normal and safe ordering a cup of coffee. They also do a great job making Mexican mochas, which i thoroughly enjoy!
In my opinion, they should not be charging $13 for their sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I did not find it appetizing at all. Ended up taking the egg off after the first bite.

Living in the South End or Beacon Hill isn't complete without a visit to The Station. Their Beacon Hill location is beautiful, rarely closed, and always has a warm & welcoming environment.

Maybe the girl today was having a bad morning but when paying customers approach the counter, be courteous and inviting and not cold. The girl at the register with the peach / orange shirt just was not it. After I said hello, there was no “Welcome in”… it actually was eerily quiet. Mentally noted it, stood for a minute or so while she was not really doing anything. She then coldly asked “So what did you want to order?” I asked what a specific drink was and she paused and thought about how she would respond… “it’s a Mexican hot chocolate… it’s spices but not spicy.” I gave her my $5 and she returned my change. No recommendations, no thank you, nothing. Then the barista was the only one making drinks so with one order ahead of me, it took a total of 12 minutes…for a hot chocolate. I know that because I’m on my 15 minute break. Anyway, the hot chocolate is mid. $4.20 for a 12oz. Not that hot. And I’m back to work. My suggestion, just be inviting as a cashier since you are the face of the establishment when one enters.

My second stop on my Seattle Cafe Passport!
Parking: minimal street parking.
I also order a hot coco at every cafe (because if you can’t do hot coco right how can you do anything right!) and I prefer when they make their own whipped cream! Hot coco was delicious and the perfect drinking temp. Iced latte was delicious as well. I did not like the iced chai. Could be sweeter.
The breakfast sandwiches were great! Fresh and great flavor with a little spice!
Love that they use real mugs and reusable cold beverage cups as well!
Great amount of indoor and outdoor seating with welcoming vibes!

The service was quick and the Mexican hot chocolate was frothy and chocolatey without being too sweet. There were lots of thick wood table tops and it was not too busy on a Tuesday afternoon.

Great service, kind baristas, and delicious latte, but VERY expensive. $7.50 for a 12 oz is hard to swallow, but they are dog friendly so I can overlook the price.

$15 for a breakfast Sandwich is just too much for me to afford. And the orange juice was $5 for 1 cup of orange juice. And it seems to be generic. Copeland does not taste like good orange to sleep's a bad taste in my mouth.
