Cute spot! No table service but still a pleasant experience. We would have sat outside but the heaters weren’t on.

I decided to try this unusual strawberry shortcake-like breakfast dish, sweet and delicious.

They have mimosas!

I would definitely come back to this place.

What this place lacks in food quality is made up by its stellar atmosphere. First of all, the place is huge. There’s a downstairs inside, upstairs, backyard, and front patio. Its proximity to the water means on a clear day, you’ll get beautiful views.

If you’re looking for the most delicious brunch in Seattle, this may not be the place to go. But if you can accept mid food and enjoy the gorgeous setting, I highly recommend.

Parking: A good number of spots but can get full quickly on a nice day.

Delish dishes- we ordered 4 and shared:) Homestyle food with a dash of magical ingredients in all of our dishes- breakfast croissant, biscuits & gravy, French toast pudding, and eggs Benedict:) Welcoming local atmosphere.

Summary: really chill atmosphere and view, middle of the road food/coffee, and bad flow of service made this a mixed experience. With only a few minor tweaks this place could be a lot better.

Service/flow: I’ll address this first because it affects the other two categories. You order food at the counter and they give you a buzzer to wait to pick up your food. Problem is, there is no waiting area. Guests are either crowding the entry way/standing outside waiting to order or have ordered and are standing awkwardly around the 1st floor dining area waiting for food and/or a table. Coffee and the food didn’t come out at the same time, so we were just standing there awkwardly for a bit waiting for the drinks to be ready. In that time, the food got to around room temp, making it less appetizing to eat once we got to it. Could be resolved by giving dining parties a table number and bringing the food to their table. You bus the tables yourself, which isn’t too bad, just good to know before going.

Food/coffee: I got the eggs Benedict and a biscoff latte, friends got the breakfast burrito and a peppermint latte. Both the Benny and the burrito were less flavorful (and slightly colder) than I was hoping with the hollandaise sauce on the Benny being VERY runny. Biscoff latte was very sweet, but good. Peppermint latte was bitter and tasted kind of like toothpaste, would skip it. Benny and coffee all in were about $25 after tax

Atmosphere: The place is actually really nice! The wood cabin feel makes the dining area really cozy and there’s couches up on the 2nd floor. The only issue is that as mentioned before, lots of people waiting around for food uncomfortably close to everyone eating on the 1st floor.

Was super excited to try this place and unfortunately was really disappointed. Ordered fish sandwich with fries and the oil they use to fry tastes pretty bad. The fish was fried to death and dry. Also ordered chicken and waffles- chicken was seasoned well but the waffle was basic.
Had the pecan and regular cinnamon roll and the taste was off in these as well… overall just a really weird flavor profile of aftertastes ?
Oat milk latte was great! Would recommend owners upgrade quality of ingredients.

Very busy place with no table service. We did in line outside for Scott 30 minutes to order our food. Chairs are these repurposed steel drums with castors. The food was a guy bomb and we had to buff it own tables.

A Great place to come and eat American Breakfast and Lunch. During the Holidays, they go all out and decorate the entire property. Super cool and fun. Great picture opportunities.

Cute and on the water but good food AND good views are hard to come by!

Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating at our arrival but food took longer than expected. It’s open seating and mostly self service from the jump!

Food was basic for the price but to be expected closer to the city on the water! Monte Cristo was very soft in the middle, too close to undercooked for our liking. Worth it if you find yourself looking for a cute spot to stop and hope to try again!

Solid 4 for Stonehouse. There is parking for the restaurant, but I'd venture to guess on a busy day it's not big enough. We lucked out because someone was pulling out as we were pulling in.
The building is eclectic with lots of different options for seating - inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs. Lots of cool artwork, a view of the water, and even Cornhole boards. You order at the counter upon arrival, then take a buzzer with you to alert you when your food is ready for pick up. We heard reviews that there's often a long line to get in/order, but that wasn't our experience. We got in, ordered, and had our food within 15 minutes.
The Eggs Benedict, potatoes and bacon were all delicious! I'd skip the bloody mary if I went again. It was pricey and I didn't like the flavor.
You bus your own table when you're done. So if you're looking for full-service dining, this isn't it. But I'd still recommend it!

Stopped by Stonehouse Cafe for breakfast, and it was seriously good! The food hit the spot, and the holiday decor made the place feel super warm and inviting. Loved the whole vibe. The staff were really nice too, which made everything even better. Definitely a great spot to grab breakfast—can’t wait to come back!

Exceptional food. Reasonable price. Funky cafe, with a beautiful view of Lake Washington. Oil drum chairs are surprisingly comfortable.

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, love the view. Even though it's a long wait, it's worth it.

Dietary restrictions: Let's you get oat milk in coffee. I had to get oat milk because I'm lactose. There is options other than whole milk

First of all, I would go back just for the views and ambiance. You can look out to the lake from the patio area and even better from their second floor. The cold brew was good but not made in house so no points for that but good choice of canned coffee. The food was fine but nothing to rave about. Fine breakfast food, great view, good baristas to make good coffee mixtures and alcoholic beverages. This is the perfect studying and coffee spot though. Check out their second floor “living room” spot.
