Came here with a dear friend who needs an accessible entrance because he uses an electric scooter to navigate the world. The Wash pulled out a ramp for him to navigate the stairs, and once we were inside the bar and bathrooms were extremely accessible.
I really enjoyed The Wash. it’s a cute and eclectic vibe, serving an older millennial crowd (shout out my peeps!). The food was tasty, and the service was phenomenal. I had asked about eggs in a dish, and was initially told there was none. I wanted to confirm this when the gentleman brought my food. Hands down one of my most favorite bars on Capitol Hill! Warm and inviting southwest inspired ambience, amazing and authentic Puerto Rican cuisine (in love with the pork lumpia )
