Our dinner was wonderful - the service, especially! I think Lukas was his name and he went above and beyond to tell us about the menu and provide us with other recommendations beyond White Swan! The fish stew should not be missed and the seasonal salad w/ burrata and grilled shrimp was divine. The pork tacos were a little dry but it was late in the evening and I'd suspect the day's supply had dried out a bit. Regardless, would go back! Go Mariners!
We had terrible service. No spoons for our soup, nothing to open our crab claws with, no salt/pepper, had to ask for everything. We were a large group and had the 20% tip- not pleasant. Prices were too high for quality. Boo!
Our plane was late and they graciously moved our reservation to an hour later. When we arrived we had to wait 25 min for a table but the sunset was lasting and the chowder and smoked salmon salad superb! Despite the pretentious sounding name, it is a T-shirt and shorts place.
We sat (party of 10) outside on the deck overlooking Lake Union on a gorgeous evening. Definite pub/bar atmosphere rather than a restaurant. Lively yes. A bit noisy yes too. Food was pretty good fare (salmon salad, fish & chips, etc). I actually had the short ribs which were quite tender and tasty. Appropriate pricing. Fun place.
Service was very disappointing for my first visit. Requested an indoor table for an anniversary. The hostess while asking where we had met decided to seat us in the far back, right next to the hot, loud, open kitchen on an 83°F evening. Tried to politely wave at her when she was making her way towards us to request a different table (there were many other indoor tables by the windows facing the lake). She looked at me, then sharply turned into the kitchen without ever coming back. The server helped us move to a way better table and was a gem. After we finished our main meal, we weren't serviced for another 20 minutes. A different server came to check on us, and then took another 10 minutes to get the handheld tab to take our payment. Food was nice though, and decently priced.
I honesty expected better service. We were the only people there and they took forever to wait on us.
A little underwhelming this time. Menu was less seafood oriented than I remember. Service was great though and overall we enjoyed our experience.
Our experience was not great. The music was so loud it was hard to talk to each other and we love music, but it was not at a enjoyable level. The food was fine, but nothing to rush back for and the prices were too high for what they serve. In hindsight we should have checked out The White Swan before making the reservation for a extended family dinner. It was more of a beach hangout as the young people in bikinis were in and out the entire time using the restroom. Also happens to have been a warm night and their is not air conditioning in the restaurant.
Food tasted great and was comparable for the price. The service was not on par, however. From the time we got seated, it took 45 minutes to get sodas and drinks. Our appetizers had come out long before we got our drinks. It just took so long in between each service (ordering drinks, appetizers, food, getting our check) for our server to come and check on us that we wondered if he was ever coming back. He also was not knowledgeable at all about the gluten free food options and had to go back and forth several times asking the kitchen for advice. We were in good company, but I'm not sure we will come back and try White Swan again.
This is a very casual lakeside restaurant that appears to be especially popular in the summer months. The outdoor seating is connected to the marina so it has the potential of being a nice atmosphere. The interior is quite dated and dark.
We ordered cheeseburgers, crab claws and oysters. As the restaurant was busy we found service to be slow, especially for the initial order and food delivery, perhaps they don't have adequate staff. Also the restaurant seems quite dated and not maintained; it did not feel clean.
The happiest diners we're outside with ample drinks and very casually dressed in bathing suits and tank tops. While the restaurant was recommended by friends, we can't see ourselves returning.

Husband got the blackened chicken sandwich and said (and I quote), “It had the texture of food … but absolutely zero flavor. I literally had to double check that I was eating.”
I got the Trenne Pasta, the first few bites were good and then it was pretty disappointing
Service was pretty good. Waters were only refreshed once but pretty fast and attentive otherwise
Views were absolutely stunning, we were outside looking over the lake and watched sea planes taking off

White Swam is a fun experience for happy hour and a quick eats with friends. Service is fast.
Overall, we had a really great experience. Outdoor patio seating is always a plus especially on such a beautiful day. There are so many moving parts in running a well executed dining experience. Some how food this time around felt just good. That being said, great service easily makes up for so many things.
Very biased. Watched three people who came after me get a table without any reservation with the same party size. 2 hour wait time is the polite way of saying we ain’t letting you in??
We are folks who work at faang. Not white

Maybe we caught them at a bad time. Hardly greeted by the unfriendly hostess. Seated and waited forever for someone to take our drink order. Finally someone came by with water and just placed the water on the table. Terrible customer service so we got up and left. No restaurant parking. Waiters looked very messy and menus were stained and wrinkled.
