Really wanted to love this place bc it’s in our neighborhood but man, the bar food was just not very good… even when drunk it was not appetizing. Wings were below average and fish and chips were overcooked and a bit tough to eat. Probably won’t be back :(

5 stars simply isn't enough when rating the Fish. Since moving to Seattle from the Southeast, they've become our friends and family away from home. The food is great, and it's one of the only nearby places with draught Guinness! We've watched big games, celebrated birthdays, and many other memorable times at Thirsty Fish. If you choose to stop in, chances are you'll see me there!

Fun pub style place. Great fish and chips. Fish has a crunchy panko crust.
Thirsty fish has been a long time favorite in the crown hill neighborhood. I first started going there when it opened & met the owner Louie. He’s great and the bartender has been there since it opened too I believe. Lovely people! They have a mug club you can join which is fun. Mugs hanging all over the bar area. The food is good no disappointments there. Great place to watch games. Pool table in the back. Outdoor seating on a nice patio and you can bring your pups. Grab your friends and head there!

Nice relaxing dinner on the deck outside, on a warm summer day. They have you order everything at the counter but deliver it to your table - it shouldn't take too much effort to just provide table service rather than making the patrons get uo every time they want to add something. My food was good, they were more than happy to make special adjustments to every dish ordered by our table, and it was servied quickly. My dirnk wasn't made exactly as I ordered it, but I went back to order a chaser and fixed it myself so it worked out.

This is our new go-to spot!! It's a casual place with a bit of an "everybody knows your name" vibe. The guys who run the place are great and their chef is a freaking magician! They have everything from salad to burgers and it is all cooked to absolute perfection. Burgers? Perfect. Chicken? Fully cooked but still moist and tender. I'm very cautious of where I eat shell fish but you HAVE to try their honey walnut prawns. Just so you know I'm not biased, there was oooone time that the fish & chips was slightly over cooked (just a bit too crispy) but not bad enough to send it back. It was still yummy. :)
Since finding this place we've taken friends and visiting family, and everyone has great things to say about it. Try them!
Parking: There are two very small lots (one on each side of the restaurant) but there is also lots of free street parking so we've never had a problem finding free parking.
