This Tianfu is totally different from the bellevue one. The taste is different even for the same dish, either too salty or just not good. Disappointed.

I’m especially disappointed because I’ve been here twice in previous years and had decent experiences before. Unfortunately, this time the restaurant has changed a lot — and not for the better.

We were a family of five (two adults and three older kids), and a mandatory 20% tip was added without any prior notice or explanation. When I asked about it, the waiter said it was mandatory for parties of five or more and “the restaurant’s rule.” This was never mentioned beforehand and felt unreasonable, particularly given the minimal service.

The food was just okay overall. The grilled fish was a waste of money — it did not taste fresh, was overly oily, and poorly prepared.

It’s disappointing to see a place that used to be acceptable decline this much. I would not return.

I ordered takeout, but they packed it poorly and all the sauce spilled onto the car seat. The food was also very hot. They give you cardboard to keep it from being so hot, but it still burns your hands. Food 🥘 3 points.

I eat a lot of Chinese food and cook my own. Their Sichuan food is really good especially the Mapo Tofu. Pretty authentic Chinese food I have coworkers from China and they love this restaurant I recommend.

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to, I am sad to say. I had the szechuan fish fillet and tofu. It took over 30 minutes. There was no tofu, instead they put a bunch of bamboo shoots and bean sprouts in it. The fish fillet had that strong fishy taste like it wasn't properly washed, and it had sharp bones and skin on it. It wasn't even fish fillet at all but rather fish trimmings. I get this dish at every Szechuan place I go to, and this was by far the worst. And it cost over $40 making it more expensive than most other places.

Aside from the food, the interior is bad. There is a cold draft coming from the door that goes directly into the dining area where the guests sit.

I only come here for the chicken gizzard with pickled cucumbers. I’ve had it maybe 7 times? And all five times, they tasted slightly different. Uncle in the back needs to standardize!

Great place if you’re looking to escape “American” Chinese food. I had the frog legs, which were wonderful. Service wasn’t super great as they really only came over if you ordered via the website and never really came back to check on us. But the food was really good. I’ll be back for sure.
