This is the best Sichuan spot in Seattle. I dont know why these other people are ordering chow mein from this place, actually smooth brain undeveloped taste, big L. Sorry for your loss.
don’t listen to anyone who rated this place low. they clearly know nothing about chinese food. this is probably the best szechuan food in seattle and if you didn’t like it, you clearly don’t know how to order. or taste idk. as a chinese american whose family is from Hunan (the other spicy capital of China) and has been eating szechuan food all my life, tian fu deserves more than 5 stars. order the spicy stewed fish fillet or the twice cooked pork, you won’t be disappointed.
All the dishes came in generous portions, which is a rare find in the Seattle area these days. The fried noodles and peking shredded pork arrived really hot—you could tell they were freshly made. You can tell there’s a real chef in the kitchen, not just someone reheating food from a kit. I really appreciated the lighter touch on salt and MSG.
