I was about 10 minutes away and wanted some quick tacos. This place came up on my google search with a decent enough rating. When I arrived I did not find a restaurant like I was expecting. This place is a kitchen tucked inside a bar in a corner. You to scan a QR code with your phone to place an order. There is no service at all or an attendant to take your order. You need to disclose that before people waste their time driving here. Would not recommend

On a brighter note, I have discovered Carmelo's tacos half a block down the street, didn't even need to move my car. The chicken tacos were absolutely delicious. The guacamole sauce was the perfect finishing touch. Would highly recommend Caramelo's Tacos

Amazing small business! The food is wonderful and authentic. We enjoyed the chicken soft tacos with rice and beans. I loved that the chicken had a little char to it and that gave it so much flavor. The salsa and the guacamole on top really made it all come together. The owner is such an amazing person for giving back to our community in our time of need. Love his customer service and willingness to serve others. We love TJs street tacos ❤️

Located inside Captain Blacks, TJ’s Street Tacos is a super good choice to enjoy your drink while watching the sunset.

Their food options are really nice and the sauces they have as well really compliment their dishes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Real, authentic flavor!
I had the adobada fries, cabeza and asada tacos—all were amazing. The food took me back to Mexico and SoCal with its bold, authentic flavors. The salsas and guac were top-tier, and the service was absolutely 10/10. Highly recommend!

Best Michelada we’ve ever had, hands down. Best nachos we’ve ever had, hands down. My man leading the kitchen is also leading the fight to #bringmicheladastocapnblacks! Give the man his stripes because no other can compare!!

Originally gave this place a poor review due to incorrect hours, that wasn’t necessarily fair and that was addressed and fixed. Never really addressed the food though, which I have finally gotten around to due to the hours being correct. With that said, the ordering feels very impersonal as it’s done via phone even though there is a window to walk up to - I feel like having a person physically taking non to go orders makes somewhere so much more welcoming, especially with this place already having a bit of a strange location. The food isn’t bad, but far from the best Mexican in the area and the prices are astronomically high for what you receive, even for Seattle.

Old update: Updated their incorrect hours which was the main point of frustration - the response seems a bit condescending towards my review, as the last two times I visited the establishment it was listed as open for another 90 minutes online but was closed, and there were no listed hours on the display. I wasn’t a fan of the implication that I was wrong but the hours are now correct which is notable.

Ordered via Grubhub. I thought that this place was good (but not as good as LA tacos), but expensive at almost $4 a taco…

Went there for the first time visiting from California and I have to say the flavor of their Mexican food is very authentic. The patio is also nice to enjoy during the sunset.

Please adjust hours on google maps. Was very excited to try this place, maps said it was open and came in at 4:30. Bartender said they don't open until 5. Was fine with that and went on a walk around cap hill for 30 minutes and came back in after the opening time. Bartender said they were still not here and not sure when they would arrive. As someone who works food service I get opening late but no employees even being there 6 minutes after opening is a lil crazy. With no idea when they would actually open decided to head home. Big bummer. Anyway still looking to try it out and update my review down the line. As someone from so cal there's no good cali burritos in cd/cap hill areas.

Really good tacos. I'm not sure if it was the red or the green sauce but one of them left a nice spice after taste.
I had asada and al pastor both where really good.
