Order: asada tacos, smashburger, asada fries. Just alright mexican food, youre better off searching elsewhere. The asada is pretty tough and not seasoned very well. However the smashburger was outstanding and the onion rings were great. The asada fries are crisp but could use some more salsa and cheese.

Tjs street tacos are the only taco spot I will eat at in Seattle, I look forward to having lunch here when I come visit . I have yet to try another taco spot that taste as flavorful as this place, especially the adobada tacos which taste so authentic, reminds me so much of back home (Cali). The service is usually quick and friendly, so grateful for this affordable shop.

I go/order there because of their hot dogs. I think those are the best I’ve had in Seattle. The put a whole fried chile Serrano on top which gives it a really good Mexican touch.
My only problem is that they don’t open daily.

Mid. Me and my girlfriend got four adobada tacos a breakfast burrito and a torta. After reading the excellent reviews we were excited to try it out for the first time. We paid $46 for a mushy burrito, a soft textureless torta and very mid tacos. The burrito was like a tube of mushy food with gristle and cold tatertots, the red 40 looking meat in the tacos and torta where flavorless with an ambiguous spice. Any review that claims this to be the best Mexican food in Capitol Hill is disgrace to better places like Tacos Chukis and antojitos Jalisco. An absolute waste of money and a unsatisfying meal. Do not recommend.,

Ohhhh my god. I don’t always tell people I’m a transplant, but when I do it’s so that you understand my perspective on tacos. If you’re here from California Arizona etc you know this feeling— the big empty hole where amazing Mexican food should be here in Seattle. Well I’m here to tell you that this is everything you’ve been looking for and then some. Real salsa! Carne asada that I would kill and/or die for. TJ’s is something truly special. Doesn’t hurt that they’re at Captain Black’s rn, it’s a match made in heaven. Do yourself a favor and get the best Mexican food you’ve ever had.
