Almost 20 dollars tip included for 12 pieces of chicken and a small scoop of rice. Half the plate is veggies and ranch. Yoshino on Madison does three times the portions. Unbelievable

Very solid takeout spot. Got the chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu and both of my kids loved it.

I paid 15$ for a chicken teriyaki. Trust me, this is one of the worst chicken I eat. For the whole day, something is happening in my stomach. I feel like I am going to go through out. I eat chicken alot and I can tell when the quality is not good and not cooked today

When we first got here there was a lot of people getting take out and mobile orders. We thought this was a good sign but sadly that’s the last time I’ll use the word good for this review. It took a long time just to order, the prices are quite high for what you get and they have charges for everything from refills, to CC charges, to extra sauces, etc.

There was 6 in our group and there is very little seating inside but since it was hot and they had no AC, we decided to eat outside. Once we got our food two of the people in our group had enough after one or two bites. The sauce is odd, it’s very sweet, and def not teriyaki flavor that I’ve had before. I decided to power through and ate about half of my plate which was about as much as any one person in our group was able to get through.

We all ended up throwing away the food and walked down the street and just grab some subway.

I decided to finally try their teriyaki after hearing so many great reviews but I did not like it at all. The flavor wasn’t there… The individual that took my order (not sure if she’s the owner) didn’t acknowledge I was even there even though I was the only one standing there waiting to place my order… the individual that came 10 minutes later to order ended up getting their order first… which we both got teriyaki chicken. What is nice about the place though is that there’s actually free parking.

6pm on a Tuesday, dinner instead of traffic. Only person in the restaurant.
Ordered the #1 chicken with rice and salad. A little sauce heavy but not too thick. Balance salt and sweetness. Grilled chicken has nice grilled profile-I like bits of char here and there. Reminds me of “Hawaiian plate lunch”-good portion and you just eat.

I had a great dining experience here and everything I ordered was delicious. The man working the day I was there named Demetrius was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He made some great recommendations that I really enjoyed. The dining area wasn’t very spacious but they have tables outside so people can eat out there if it’s too crowded inside. I’m going to go back here in a few days and try some other items on the menu that demetrius recommend. I hope he knows how much his customers appreciate his amazing customer service.

Classic Seattle teriyaki. It's great but it doesn't stand out from other teriyaki places in the area, in my opinion.

Chicken was raw and undercooked. Teriyaki sauce was not good either. We spent $32 for 2 teriyaki meals and we couldn't eat more than one bite each.

Food is good. They had like 6 young people working with no crowd and it took 15+ min for them to to make it. Just chicken teriyaki.i remember the place on first hill near the hospitals from some years back - had just a single old dude running it, and he got the goods to me in about 5m. Wonder what the difference is.

I used to come here as a kid when it was small shack.

I remember the chicken teriyaki was consistent, now it seems like it’s a hit or miss when it comes to the chicken.

The rice and skin on chicken was always nice and juicy.
