Five stars. Great bar. Couldn’t ask for better. Bartenders are totally normal.
Official rating: 3.5 stars.Had I not started with two drinks on a empty stomach I might be a better judge of the food, but everything was presented well and tasted fine. Service was good but I could have used another drink more often than our server came by. The chicken sando included tomatoes which were not listed on the menu, but fortunately were easy to pick off. Mojito was ok, nothing special. Moscow mule had an overpowering ginger flavor, but I still downed two of them. Tots were cooked well - nice and crispy and not too greasy. Stuffed pretzels were a unique item, filled rather than an accompanied dipping sauce.
The drinks were nice and strong, the bar staff was friendly, but sitting outside in the hot noon sun with a tropical drink is priceless.Black Trans Lives Matter!
Fantastic place with absolutely fabulous staff. Many kudos to Rylee and Jess, wealth of knowledge about downtown Seattle.Best margaritas ever!
Went here because Buckleys was packed for the Seahawks playoff game. Was fine, first the waitress made it seem like a burden we were there for a playoff game. So they didn’t change the game for kickoff which is fun but when she was changing channels to find the football game, I said it on Fox to help. She said gave me a sarcastic attitude back, no sound for the game. So like I said seemed like a burden we were there for a playoff game. Chicken biscuit sandwich also had no meat and was basically fried breading, left at halftime.
My experience here started so promising and then it sucked. We were the First ones in for happy hour -- interior looks great, service was prompt, initially. But it was not even worth the 20% service charge at the end. More on this later.Got the cider, boiler maker, happy hour plate, and fried chicken sandwich.Fried chicken sandwich was atrocious - picture shows the thin slice of meat and inability to fry proper as the breading fell off. For $14 I expect a sandwich that is challenging sisters and brothers. This was a thin piece of meat. The kale salad (+4$) was more fulfilling than the sandwich!!We really wanted service for hot sauce or something, and never saw our bartender again. Stacked the plates, maybe the bartenders switched roles but we were left HIGH AND DRY.65$ after the service charge, two food plates, one drink a piece. Absolutely rediculous for the kind of service we received. I'm still fuming, so I'm leaving this review. You suck Trade winds, go back under water with Davy Jones and stay there.
As far as I can tell, Trade Winds Tavern seems to have the best combination of drinks, food, and value of any bar in Belltown right now. They have fun cocktails and good prices and a welcoming atmosphere, full of locals. My friends and I hung out here and watched the end of an NFL game and had a great time. Our server was really helpful and friendly. While I loved the baseball card walls in the bathroom, one unisex stall wasn't sufficient for a bar of this size. Overall, this is an excellent spot!
Fun place with a great menu and delicious drinks!
Wisconsin flavored tavern. We had Miller High Life and Cheese Curds, delicious! Nice tavern.
Great bartender and the drinks were worth of the price. Food was really good too!

Doesn’t say anywhere on their website, ads, or sidewalk sign that it’s a 21+ only place, so only found out when we walked over for dinner and were told that my kiddo and I were not allowed in.
Joseph Simpson is the best and kindest bartender I have ever encountered. Let him make you a drink and listen to all your deepest traumas. Trust me.
Great place. Cozy and comfortable. Good drinks and top notch beer.
My friend and I had a great time here. Fun food and cocktails that will make you miss the Midwest. Get those cheese curds!
Awesome little place. Great staff and tasty cocktails. Can't wait to go back.
