My friend and I were in town four the opera, and had been researching wine bars near the venue. I'm so glad we found this one! We were there in time for happy hour. I had the happy hour white, and she had the red.... they were both REALLY good. We shared the sliders, the pork belly mac and cheese, and the bread pudding. I can't say enough good things about the food and wine, it was delicious! Our server was SUPER knowledgeable about wine. I will say that when we walked in, we were skeptical because it seemed like the bartender and server were a little grumpy, but we were so pleased with our experience, that we KNOW we'll be back!

We had an extremely bad experience. Sunday happy hour was denied. No one dining at the establishment when we arrived should have been a sign. The bartender excused the under staffing and explained that there was only one individual in kitchen. We promptly left. It was Crazy! We'll still be talking about this experience for years!

The bartender was drunk (or something), my cocktail glass was filthy. The bar staff was stressed out. Odd as I had had a decent time before. I think they may be close to shutting down as most of the liquor bottles we're empty, and the shelves looked pretty bare. They were busy but hey,I won't be going back.

Elegant spit - so close to the Rep at the Seattle Center

Good bartender serving us allowed me to quickly get in a couple of items for happy when I sat down. It was melon season and they had prosciutto and melon which I love. We had a couple of other small dishes that were good and we appreciated the quick service to make it to our show on time. Small menu but a nice spot for a quick casual meal.

Wow. This place is hands down the best bar I've ever been to. I honestly don't know how the bartender is able to go out anywhere and enjoy it, because his drinks are just THAT superior. I got a Moscow Mule, and like, how much can one Moscow Mule vary from another right? BUT OH MY GOD. This guy makes his own ginger syrup from fresh ginger, and uses freshly squeezed lime juice, and has these amazing freeze-dried lime slice garnishes. It's a true masterpiece. Second favorite is their Springtime Old Fashioned - infused with chamomile and sweetened with honey instead of simple syrup. Absolutely to die for. Their food is really good too! I'm a vegetarian so I haven't eaten a ton of what they offer, but what I have had is positively stellar (you know you want those crispy potatoes). Fantastic location - literally across the street from Seattle Center which houses pretty much all of Seattle's giant cultural events, museums, and performing arts. AND they validate 1 hr of parking. Bam. They do it all!!!

Come for drinks and staff, not the food. The staff are great, but the food is honestly terrible. The Caesar salad dressing was the highlight of the meal, which perhaps is why they absolutely drowned the salad in it. The chicken with the salad was comically rubbery (how do you screw up sous vide that badly?) and the ragu was amazingly flavorless. Friendly folk and the drink was spot on, though!

._. Does my review still count if i only got drinks? ._. Welp, if you're finally out of your house an into the streets because you're 35 and finally out of your moms basement (no choice) because she told you to move! This will be your guide to a some good drinks to your adulthood life! Follow meeeeeeee *dissapeared into the shadows as the slightest echo is the only thing guiding you.* Atmosphere: It's very spacious. (Like spacious to where a full grown man can make some pretty cool karate kicks and wins over the bar, only to fight the warriors next week in an all fight gang war.) It takes a modern approach where everything subtle but with a limited choice in colors. (Now I dont mind that at all, but then again I try to catch the lazer pointer when I'm playing with a cat and I'm the one in control of the device. [If you're reading this mr snowball! That's my lazer! O.O]) the very left side of the place is stocked with a variety of bottles of wine. (Although, its fairly empty. Making the place feel like they're ready to move anytime. ._. A fine opportunity for some action figures on the shelves! [Yeah Ashley! Manly action figures are big now! Oh you chose poorly for making fun of my "barbies" who's laughing now??? Cuz I'm not. ._.]) Customer Service: Was subtle. It was a goldilocks service. (Meaning there was a sudden charge of bears attacking the bar! O.O wanting justice for a blonde girl breaking in and eating, wearing clothes, and sleeping in their bed.) Meaning it was just right. :3 Drinks: Were kicking with flavor and originality. (Like a kangaroo mom, pushing through a crowd in Disneyland to find her kids!) I would go back for le yummy drinks! Conclusion: It was indeed pleasent time to just and grab a drink. Atmosphere was ok and subtle (but then again, who goes out for the atmosphere anymore? Backalleys tacos it is!) With a steady service that resembles that of a college student going back home to wash their laundry. It was more than enough. ._. Thasss all uhh. Ps: if your scratch my poodle in the belly, he'll force you to keep doing it for another 30 mins. (For if you dont! He will judge you!)

The perfect spot for drinks and food before or after a show around the Seattle Center. I'm always surprised that it isn't more crowded, but I'm not complaining either since it's nice to have a quieter place to talk! Bonus points because they have an older man as the server. It's really nice to see there isn't age discrimination and it adds a neighborhood, homey feel to the place. Not Seattle pretentious. Oh... and did I mention the food and drinks are awesome? The bread pudding is a real treat, they make it to order... don't miss it!

The bartender acts like he’s on drugs. Can’t stop talking and fix the drinks. Finally we just need to get up and walk out. We’ve been here before with great drinks and service. What happened. It looks deserted Sadly won’t be back.

Save your money and DO NOT COME HERE! There are better places. I normally read up on reviews before I head to a place but this time I didn't and I regret it fully. A friend was in town and this was the closest wine bar in the area. My boyfriend and I arrived first. The place wasn't all that busy initially and we took a seat by the bar. We arrived close to the end of happy hour. After we put in our drinks order, we set about taking a look at the food on the happy hour menu. This is where it gets weird. After I put in our initial order, the bartender asked if we wanted to order anything else and I said we'd think about it. He said if we wanted our happy hour order, we needed to order right now before the kitchen got swamped and that the chef hated that or some similar b******** You have to understand, the place had maybe 4 or 5 other people there and there's at least another 25 minutes left of happy hour. More than that, it was the way he said it as though he didn't have the time of day to deal with us. My boyfriend wanted to leave right then and there. The bartender hadn't even started our drinks order yet. I wish I had listened to him. Instead, I said we'd just stick it out. A bunch more people walk in and get seated and after a good 10 minutes it felt as though the bartender was serving their drinks before ours. I couldn't understand why he was treating us this way and at first I thought it was in my head. The drinks finally arrived a bit later than I expected. I had gotten a standard house red and my boyfriend had gotten the jug juice. It tasted like there was no alcohol in it what so ever. When our friend arrived, that's when my doubts were confirmed. While he had been brusque and out right rude with us, he was all smiles and "what would you like" with our very white attractive male friend. Moreover, you could see the bartender being all smiles and what not with everyone but us. The olives and salumi we ordered finally arrived and they were pretty great. My friend put in an order for veal and a house red. His drinks came out almost immediately. However, he had to run to dinner with coworkers about 20 minutes in, so he left without the veal coming. While we waited for the veal, we noticed that everyone else who had come in after us and after the veal order, they were all being served before us. During that time, the bartender never once asked us if we'd like anything else, etc. When our veal meatballs finally showed up, they were bland and nothing special. I would have loved to come here again for the food but that bartender made sure that will never happen. Save your money and go else where. There's no point in dealing with a racist jackass.

Fantastic burger, the French fries while not plentiful were some of the best I've eaten. Now, the pork belly Mac and Cheese was so good I'd take it home and roll naked in it. I'm already thinking about stopping back in to grab a bowl before I head back to Austin. One last thing, the host, waiter, and bartender who were all one person would be worth a visit just to order a drink and visit...pretty good dude...

The food is very delicious. The food is better shared with other people. We had 3 plates; Cesar salad, pork belly Mac and Cheese, and fried calamari. The Cesar salad was well dressed and the dressing wasn't heavy. It was light and crisp. The pork belly Mac and Cheese was our favorite. The cheese wasn't over powerful and matched with the pork belly on top. The calamari was light and crunchy. It was good food and the owner is friendly. I think it is worth a stop when in Seattle.

Only 3 beers on tap. Service felt awkward. Veal meatballs kinda bland. Caramel bread pudding was very good.

I just had the best grilled zucchini with tzatziki style sauce small dish I have ever had outside my native Bulgaria. The crispy baguette with lemon and herbs infused olive oil dip could have been enough as a meal; it was so fragrant, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is hip, the location superb, the wine list fantastic and the owner and chef obviously put their hearts and souls into their work. Great service and a delightful experience all around!
