My mom ordered the beautiful butterfly cake for our last Mother’s Day together When we opened it the frosting had cracks in it. When cutting it part of the frosting that was cracked fell off. The cake was very dry and dense. We ended up throwing it away after one bite. Not worth what was paid and would not recommend.
Ordered a very expensive cake for Easter and, while the cake was pretty good, the frosting tasted like a stick of butter...nobody could eat it and I was embarrassed! Total waste of money that i can't even get refunded. Soooooo not worth it.
I ordered seven dozen cupcakes and a cutting cake for my wedding. For what I here, the Cupcakes were just good . Did not get to try the cupcakes. Here is the BUT. The cutting cake was so hard. When we tried to cut it we both thought it was frozen. completely unedible. Consistency of a hard dry sponge. Everything did look beautiful.
But.
We don't think the quality Justified the cost of that big of an order.

Work catered hundreds of cupcakes from here. I can honestly say these were the worst cup cakes ever. The reactions from people that ate them were sad.

The cupcakes look really pretty, but they are SO dry and pretty bland. It’s very hard to tell the difference between flavors… seriously lacking. For the salted caramel I couldn’t even taste a hint of caramel flavor.

I used to go to trophy cupcake all the time in Wallingford so thought I’d pop into get a couple of cupcakes to take home. They were so dry and bland. Really bad for $6 and trophy seems to have gone in for food dyes in a big way so the ones with dye also have that nasty bitter taste. Unfortunately we won’t be back. One bright spot was how sweet and nice the lady working was

I was really looking forward to a delicious red velvet cupcake. The icing on these cakes is lovely but the cupcake itself falls apart into a thousand crumbs- way way way too dry. Not woth $6.50+ for a small cupcake that falls apart.

The store is cute, the employees were great, the cupcake…very disappointing. I was a professional baker for over ten years and I do have pretty high standards for cake, so if you don’t then you will love this place.
I got the snickerdoodle and the cookies and cream. For the snickerdoodle: the frosting was very thick and dense, too dense for my liking, when have chew frosting that is not a good sign. It had decent flavor but there was something missing in it, my guess would be vanilla. Either there was none or not enough. I feel like more and more bakeries these days are leaving out vanilla, maybe because it’s expensive but so are these cupcakes. The cake itself was very crumbly and dry, almost as if it was baked the day before. The cookies and cream: very lacking of flavor again I assume no or very little vanilla. It seemed like the same recipe as the snickerdoodle only no cinnamon. Also frosting was the same amount of dense. I should not have to chew the frosting, and it did not really melt in my mouth, I’m guessing it is made with shortening and a little butter at most? The chocolate cake on this one was also very crumbly and dry again like it was sitting out on the counter since the day before.
The fact that they were absolutely beautifully decorated makes the taste even more sad.
From one baker to another, come on you can do better than that.

I was SO bummed with my cupcake! It was so dry, it fell to pieces when I took it out of the wrapper. Hoping I can get a complimentary cupcake to make up for it! Usually the cupcakes are pretty tasty

I have been a loyal supporter of your business ever since I first tasted your cupcakes at the cart in Pacific Place. I made it a personal tradition to enjoy them in Bellevue for special occasions. However, I was deeply disappointed to receive an email today from Trophy Cupcakes promoting election-day cupcakes that only featured options for Harris/Walz. This choice feels exclusive and reflects a bias that I find troubling. You are alienating a portion of your customer base who may have diverse political views. Embracing inclusivity would strengthen your connection with all your customers. Therefore, I have decided to discontinue my support for your business, as I find this approach quite distasteful.
It is like walking into a fairytale candy house, there are too many macaroons, cupcakes and candies to choose from. My favorite is "Cupcake of the Day", which is a tres-coconut cupcake.

*The cupcakes are frozen and never served fresh. If you need to restock cake during the day, you pull it from the freezer and defrost them. *Health hazards are present in the workplace, especially the UVillage store. Once, the back of house sink was broken for MONTHS and the company was too cheap to fix it (the excuse was they were shopping around for the best quote, but it was at the risk of staff and customers). We had to do dishes in the mop sink. The smell was so bad that it reached the front of house and customers were walking in, smelling it, and walking back out. This is just one example of how the company does not make essential repairs in a timely manner. *The communication is SO BAD. Upper management only reached out when they needed something. They would very rarely respond to our concerns. ESPECIALLY the "HR" person. *When they suddenly shut down 3 out of the 4 shops, staff had no idea this was coming. I still had shifts on the calendar and I received a lay off email out of the blue. They laid off the full-time, dedicated employees and kept the often-unhelpful part-time college students. Cutting costs is going to cost them their business.
Received these delicious and beautiful birthday cupcakes the other day!
