Tropical Berry Kenmore

This may be a hole in the wall, but the food is bomb. OG Brazilian acai bowls that are consistently great, and super tasty chicken empanadas (pastel) and chicken coxinha dumpling (co-sheen-ya). And don't forget the green sauce (molho verde), so tasty!

What's special:
With the acai, nutella/nut butters, if ordered, are layered throughout the acai in thin piping ribbons, and other options of passionfruit mousse or another Brazilian fruit can be added in, making them really flavorful. They are generous with the toppings and it's real Sambazon acai (which is the OG stuff IMO).

And holy crap, the chicken! The prep on the chicken filling is excellent. It's perfectly shredded and spiced with savory flavors and then perfectly fried every time. And don't forget the green sauce! The green sauce is tangy yet creamy and a perfect complement for the savory. Bonus is they put it in little squeeze tube pouches (like mini applesauce pouches) that make it an easy to use, especially on the go.

Currently family favorite and even my picky kid likes the different burgers and hot sandwiches. Haven't tried personally, I'm hooked on the chicken!

Great sandwiches and drinks here. Best Acai bowls I have had. Learned a lot from the people that work here about interesting food like cupuacu, which is a great compliment to an acai bowl. Great place to eat

The owner was very passionate about Acai and explained in detail the process of how it it made. The bowl was delicious, very authentic taste topped with organic fresh fruits

I got the X Salada burger and a strawberry-banana smoothie. Service was pretty fast (took 10 minutes to cook) and the food is good. It's a small place: limited parking behind the restaurant and limited seating inside. But it was fairly quiet at 4 PM, and I also saw some covered outdoor seating.

My one complaint is that the burgers on the menu don't match what you actually get. The burger photos don't correspond with menu items (are they stock photos?), showing toppings that this restaurant doesn't serve. And when I got my X Salada burger home, I realized it didn't have hearts of palm on it, which the menu explicitly lists as a topping. So I'm disappointed about that. It still tastes good, but I feel like I overpaid for what I got.

Overall though it's good food, and I'll probably come back again.

EDIT 2025-12-29: I did come back and had a really good acai bowl! They've also revised their menu since my last review; I haven't yet ordered their burgers since the change, but I'm definitely coming back.

This is a total hole in the wall with excellent Cuban sandwiches! Although they have some smoothies you really want to try the empanadas and sandwiches. Delicious!

Today my family order coxinhas açaí and a guaraná everything came expect for the guaraná we thought the guy that had the order forgot it but it wasn’t his fault i call the store and the person that answer said it’s not his fault and that it was the person that had the order together he also said next time he would send us the guaraná witch does not make sense because he doesn’t know me it’s not the first time it happens the other time when tropical berry was with capital burger we call the store because we order a burger with fries and they didn’t came they told us the same thing next order we will send them to you it’s not nice that we order something and they say next when they don’t even know who you are they are very unprofessional.
