Super cute place with tasty sandwiches, paninis, baked goods, along with reliably good coffee!

I hope you’ll consider a couple of outdoor tables for those with furry friends!

Actual good coffee! I was telling the barista that I stopped going to Starbucks cuz they make most of their drinks way too sweet.

I got a fall special - lavender oat matcha latte and it’s the best I have had for a while that has the right balance of lavender and matcha and not too sweet (I requested 2 pumps for 16oz). And it was everything I wanted and imagined.

Great place with friends, or solo to work on your laptop.

Decent parking and great location.

Vegetarian options: You can request non- diary like oat milk.

This is my daily neighborhood coffee place. Great for a quick breakfast, or for sitting and chatting with a friend.

Kid-friendliness: Small kids table with tiny chairs for tiny people. There’s a rack of old board games… some pieces might be missing so these are generally best for short-term entertainment or distraction for small children.

Crown hill is an interesting neighborhood that intersects with greenwood and Ballard. Those neighbors have distinct identities and therefore are a bit easier to find expected cultural interactions. Turtle coffee provides a quiet and kind space that gives pause to most of the less approachable spaces within north Seattle. The barista was patient with her greeting and presented all of her establishments options with an efficient kindness. I don’t know if I’ll have many reasons to come to consider crown hill, but if I ever want to spend time at a coffee shop, and enjoy a place for coffee standards, atmosphere and comfort in a building. Turtle coffee will be the space for me. I’m glad I have a new home for all my coffee needs. The right place for someone to feel okay coming out of their shell

Owner was lovely! She hand bakes these scones and they are AMAZING!! I could eat like 7 of these scones!I got the white mocha latte and it was the right amount of sweetness too. I was getting gas nearby and I saw it and thought of I'll grab coffee and a snack. So glad I stopped by! Plenty of parking as well and it's free!

Rude owner who often disrespects customers. We went in a group of 3 and one person didnt order anything. The owner came to the third person and said he can sit for free until he orders anything. He patiently explained his medical condition and how he cannot eat or drink what’s offered (mostly unhealthy). The owner said he should go to a place where there are things he could eat. It was sad and embarrassing as we were catching up as the person recently got discharged. Inhuman behavior by the owner, will never step foot again.
