We've been coming to this location for over 15 years, but unfortunately, this visit left us deeply disappointed. I had planned a celebration for my daughter's graduation, but the experience fell short on multiple fronts. Our server was unhelpful and unclear, and our shared dishes were brought out without serving utensils—something the manager later corrected. The seasonal pasta was under-seasoned, and most of the other dishes were overly salty. The level of service was the poorest we've experienced here. Regrettably, we don't plan to return.

We went to Tutta Bella for my daughter's graduation dinner on a Wednesday night. They were fairly busy but not overwhelmingly so. My son wanted lasagna - they were out. My mom ordered the primavera. The server came back and told her they were out of vegetables. I ordered the Bianca pizza. It had some strange floral flavor that didn't work with the pizza. Both my mom and husband tried it and agreed. Something was weird about it. I didn't eat it. Our bill for 6 was close to $300. It was a disappointing meal for the cost. The service was good.

The team at Tutta Bella Columbia City always impresses - from a warm and welcoming smile at the front entry to the knowledgeable waitstaff to the quick and efficient kitchen team, Tutta Bella is the place to go if you're looking for Neopolitan pizza in Seattle's south end. Set in Columbia City's "Restaurant Row," the hip and trendy location perfectly augments the friendly and personable staff.

This is how you do it!!! It’s been over a decade since i previously visited Tutta Bella and i was a little wary to go this time, because I’ve had so many disappointing experiences lately returning to classic spots, only to find that they have gone downhill (and prices have steeply climbed) and they rely on old reputation and client habit to keep seats filled. So what i found was a fabulous surprise! Tutta Bella is better than ever. 😄

The service was top notch from the time we entered. We were greeted warmly and given friendly updates on how soon a table would be ready. We never had to wonder if we had been forgotten or if it would be longer than anticipated. Our server-Azee(sp?)- and the friendly bartender provided stellar service. Azee offered decisive and spot on recommendations for wine and food combination. He was attentive, without being invasive, giving us space and time for a lovely date.

We loved the roasted cauliflower appetizer, beet salad, and classic campana pizza. Everything was served in good time, fresh and tasty, good flavors and textures. And reasonably priced in this current day and age. For full dinner and drinks for two, we came in under $100. We’ll definitely be back sooner this time!

Best neighborhood Italian food.

The hostess seated me on time for my 7:00 pm reservation and quickly served the glass of wine I asked for. I then waited for somebody to take my order. After 45 minutes of waiting, I gave up and asked for the check, leaving most of the wine behind. When I asked about the long wait (the dinner rush had already ended), a staff member told me they thought I was waiting for somebody to join me, even though I had earlier set the extra place setting to the edge of the table to be collected. I used a Tuta Bella gift card to pay for the wine. Unfortunately, a client had paid me with hundreds of dollars in Tuta Bella gift cards that I now feel apprehensive about using in the future.

This was my first time trying a Neapolitan style pizza and it's a little different than what I'm used to, but I will certainly not hold that against the restaurant

We took our grandson and we placed in the bar area. There's nothing wrong with the bar other than the fact that the lighting is really subdued ...a little too dark for my liking

It was obvious that they were understaffed, and the waitress was not exactly the most welcoming...an offshoot of the lack of serving people. I'm not saying that the service was horrible, but just not quite as welcoming as one would hope

As for the food, our Bianca pizza reportedly had three cheeses on it, but I really could only identify one. While it wasn't the most flavorful pizza I've ever had, it was made with quality. Our grandson loved his pepperoni pizza, although I found it very salty, but that's the case with pepperoni

So you're probably wondering, why was the service rated only as a two. Well, while we were dining, a blind gentleman came in and was trying to negotiate his way through the cramped bar. He had to stand there waiting for almost 10 minutes until the waitress saw him to a table. It just felt wrong and even though they were busy, they should've made an effort to seat the gentleman immediately

Now having said all that regarding the service, the server did bring out a little wallet that my wife did leave behind, which was very nice.

I think if you go there when they have a few more staff on duty, the service will be much better. I intend to do that and should the situation warrant it, I will boost my rating

This is my favorite restaurant in Seattle! Always outstanding service and food! I hope it's here forever!

Recently had the worst experience at this location. My sister and I love the garlic knots so we ordered some among other things. We shared a few things, including a bowl of soup. I asked to “add a meatball to the soup”. The garlic knots come and they’re burnt, we each tried one but they tasted weird so we politely asked for a remake. The meatball comes add, and I’m pleased to see it’s 3 small meatballs. We finish our meal and the garlic knots never come. Our server hasn’t come back the entire time, so we had to flag down someone else multiple times trying to get them. Finally we are ready to go and I flag someone to let them know they can cancel the garlic knots, and they end up coming out anyways a few minutes later. We don’t touch them and I have to again go up to the register to ask someone for help. I ask if he can close us out and that I had canceled the knots, so to please take them off the order (and he can have them back if he likes). Instead, he takes a discount off of them and when I question why it wasn’t removed he said that I’m just paying for what I ordered and was incredibly rude and then walked away. Horrible service, and this again wasn’t even our server. We still tipped 20% because we are both in the service industry, but will never be coming back. Weird experience altogether. Oh, and they charged me for the meatball entree also. lol.

The food and service was really good. However, with the dramatic increase in prices and, the main dishes coming out while we were eating our appetizers, we feel that we were really rushed. We should have been done w the appetizers and give about 10 minutes in between dishes. From the moment we sat down to ordering cocktails, to getting 3 appetizers and getting our main dishes on the table, it was about 30 minutes: 7:25 to 8 pm. Also our main server left without telling us so we were looking for him (Jackson?) There was a very attentive server who covered the whole room. (She had red hair) she was the only one trying to cover the entire place and did an excellent job. With animal protein in pasta dishes running at $25-30 per dish, this is no longer a mid tier family price. Most of the time we ordered take out. This is the first time we dined in a few years.

Some people love this place, it's got that thin thin crust and lots of different topping combos, but I like the pasta dishes more than the pizzas

Amazing beats! Can't beat them anywhere.

I needed a place to wait for my ride to pick me up after a fight at family therapy across the street that left me in tears. The host put me at a table in the corner where I could sob and eat delicious gelato in peace. I definitely confused the wait staff because I was crying so much, but hopefully this review clears up some confusion. Everyone was very nice, the atmosphere was perfect for a dramatic cry, and the gelato was flavorful and had a wonderful texture.
