Many of this companies 5 star reviews across all their concepts(Hall at Fauntleroy, Muse at Benaroya Hall, 4105 Seattle etc..) come from current and former employees, under the guise of being a customer. Very easy to confirm when looking at their website and LinkedIn page. It would be concerning to see that they can’t solicit positive reviews on merit and makes all positive reviews questionable. While the company may have a facade of positivity, I would imagine that the reality is quite different. I would advise potential clients to look beyond the 5-star reviews and seek out a more honest perspective before making a decision.

We used Tuxedo and Tennis Shoes catering for our vows renewal event this October. The food was superb. Everyone loved it especially the Thai spring roll wraps, the salmon and broccoli. Thanks for making our event even better. We recommend Tuxedo and Tennis Shoes for your next event. Dang and Tim

Tuxedo’s and Tennis Shoes did an absolutely amazing job catering our microwedding! We got so many compliments from both guests and other vendors on their friendly service and most delicious food! I felt so spoiled not having to think about a thing food-wise on my wedding day because they were so well organized. I definitely recommend!

My now wife and I were just looking for an evening of heavy hours d’oeuvres and cocktails for our guests to chat over and I have to say, Isabella was so wonderful to work with! She immediately got our vibe, had clear and well-described ideas, and was super open to alterations and changes in our plans as our wedding day approached. All that, and the food and service were absolutely impeccable. The staff of T and TS all seemed genuinely happy for Erin and I, and checked in with us throughout the evening just to make sure we were being taken care of. Plus, even in the face of what seems to me to be a hellishly busy wedding season, Isabella was never more than a couple days in responding to my emails, even over the weekend. Cannot recommend them highly enough as a high end, consummately professional catering service.

Emily at Tuxedos & Tennis Shoes arranged the most perfect wedding for us at the Hall at Fauntleroy! The venue looked gorgeous, everything ran so smoothly, the staff were so friendly and the food/drinks were delicious! Several guests told us it was the best wedding they have ever attended.

When my husband and I got engaged, I immediately started planning, and I knew without question that I wanted Tuxedos and Tennisshoes to cater our wedding. In fact, I contacted them and chose our wedding date based entirely on their availability. Throughout the entire planning process and all the way through til the end of our wedding night, they were nothing short of fantastic.

Both Michelle and Reed helped us plan everything, from our menu to the schedule, to the setup, including every detail at the Hall at Fauntleroy. They stayed in constant communication via email and text, never letting me worry about a thing, which as anyone planning a wedding knows, is a challenge to do! Even leading up to the day before, I texted Reed because I'd had a nightmare about things falling apart and he told me not to worry because he would never let that happen. They took so much of my stress away!

The wedding day went so perfectly - We were allowed early access to the Hall for setup and photos, and the Hall was in excellent condition with the gardens in particular looking absolutely beautiful. The bride room was the perfect little hideaway for me to get ready and to also tend to my daughter who was 8 months and breastfeeding at the time. My husband and his groomsmen utilized the studio, which they all thought was awesome with the lounge, bar, and pool table setup.
The ceremony was held in the garden area outside the Vashon room and it felt so hidden and far away from the city, as all the plants were in full bloom; It felt like the secret garden! The garden at the entryway to the Hall was the perfect place for us to share our private vows and capture our "first look" photos. The space easily accommodated our 130 guests. Cocktail hour was held in the outside patio space with the 2-sided bar allowing for quick service, as well as tray passed appetizers for everyone. The food was unbelievable. Most of the guests went up to the buffet for 2nds and even 3rds, and I had multiple people ask me if I could try to get particular recipes for them - ha! The brisket and the watermelon salad were particularly delicious, along with the vegan cheesecake tartlets - to die for!

The TNT staff was so wonderful throughout the event. Joe was the lead server and he made sure to bring my husband and I a few appetizers each while we signed our marriage paperwork, as well as cocktails to join in the festivities. When dinner began, he went through the buffet first for us to make plates for us so we didn't have to worry about that either. We were so well taken care of the entire time, once again taking away any possible added stress.

The day was simply perfect and we couldn't have done it without Tuxedos and Tennisshoes. Since the wedding, our family and friends have repeatedly said how wonderful the day was and asked about not only the caterer, but the venue as well.

I just can't say enough thank yous to Michelle, Reed, Joe, Chef Dan, and the whole Tuxedos and Tennisshoes team. They're the best!

Having had the pleasure of working as a chef with Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes in Seattle, I can authoritatively say that the experience was both an honor and a joy. This company stands out as a beacon of excellence in the catering industry, renowned for transforming ordinary events into memorable culinary experiences. From the inside out, Tuxedos and Tennis Shoes embodies a culture of quality and passion for food that is rare. As a chef, being part of a team that puts such an emphasis on sourcing seasonal and local ingredients meant that creativity in the kitchen was always encouraged. Always a pleasure to work with this team: excellent communication, stellar collaboration as a whole, their offerings in both venues + beyond tasty bites, and the way they give back to the community makes it an easy YES to work with them on the regular. Thanks, T+T for all that you do in raising the bar in the Seattle event industry!

We used T&TS for our son's smallish wedding on Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately and against the forecast, it was raining when the wedding program started. After waiting a while to see if it would stop, we made the call to move the wedding inside the house. The team from T&TS was amazing. They cleared out the living room and we seated more than 50 people inside in less than 30 minutes. A fabulous time was had by all. Thank you so much. I cannot recommend the team enough.
