We ended up at Uncle Eddie's after trying 3 others, all with a wait over an hour. It was our second time and it was as lovely as the first time. I highly recommend the jalapeño popper empanadas. Pure culinary brilliance. Flakes, delicately crisp outside; a gooey perfectly seasoned and balanced filling, and the shove right over the top is the completely unexpected strawberry jam dipping sauce. Magical marriage of flavor. They were very accommodating of my pickey eater and gave us some bare wings, which made her an instant fan. My partner had to giant Biscuit Benny. He was over moo. In love with the potatoes. Finally, I had the Seattle Philly. I usually like my steak thinner but the garlic aioli was the Magic.
If I could go back, I'd order a mimosa without ice. Its their way to serve it but it absolutely killed the flavor and vibe of a mimosa for me, like it eliminated the bubbles? Not their fault just noteworthy for those who may be caught off guard.
Will be back, will dream about those empanadas.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to the Museum of Flight. What a gem! We arrived on a rainy Saturday to a short line of people waiting for tables so we knew it would be good. A guy came out from the bar (who we later learned was the owner, Michael) and asked if he could get us a drink while we were waiting. We got Bloody Mary’s, and what a surprise to get a shorty of beer with it! We both decided to order breakfast. My hubby ordered chicken fried steak and I got the South Park platter. Everything was absolutely amazing…the homemade biscuit, the super crispy rosemary garlic potatoes, the sausage maple cayenne sausage patty, gravy for the chicken fried steak! Need I say more? They also make their own pickles, which they started doing during Covid, and they let us try one. Super tasty and even the pickled jalapeño in it was delish and not too spicy. Michael, his partner, and the whole team were gracious, friendly, and created an overall great experience! I highly recommend stopping in and we will return for sure.

This is a small diner with great food and service. The atmosphere is very retro and the portions are very generous. Our group enjoyed everything ordered. The biscuits and gravy was delicious. There is free parking in a lot justbdown the street or there is street parking. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

First time, but not my last. We had amazing & super friendly service . Tiyanna was attentive to our tight schedule and provided great drink and app suggestions. Before we left, we had the opportunity to meet the owner; cool, down to earth dude. We had such a great experience, we came back the same night for a late dinner. I loved my Cubano sandwich and look forward to exploring the menu next time.

EXCELLENT. 🔥🔥 👏👏👏
Exceed expectations.
Neighborhood quaint & quirky with all "just the right touches.
PRIMO food my son had biscuits and gravy with vegetarian sauce - which was hella good & I had CFS on a biscuit with sausage gravy. Bith were served with small red russet, rosemary roasted potatoes which were some of the BEST I've ever had.
Great atmosphere & small bar area looks inviting for my next visit.

We stopped here on our first day in town, for lunch. No doubt some of the best sandwiches that we've had. Each one better than the other. Mine was the pulled pork. Out of this world good.
