After some repainting and cleaning, Unicorn šŸ¦„ reopened. (Last summer their basement had fire damage from the business next door.) I have been waiting to see if they added any new fun details. It looks pretty much the same as last summer, but, it does look cleaner! šŸ˜Ž
Their Pike/Pine burgeršŸ” is, in my experience, the closest you can get to an In/Out burger flavor in Seattle. But, it is 3 times the price of In/Out. The quality of the burger can vary with the cook. Tonight the patty was cooked to perfection. However, I have been served dry, grey, overcooked burger patties on other occasions, so, be prepared to be surprised each time.
It feels like taking a mini vacation from reality.
The Unicorn Balls are a meal in themselves. They taste like fried wontons in corndog batter with a sweet and sour mayonaise.
The featured cocktails are fairly sweet, so I try and stick to the basics or tell the bartender to go light on the syrups.
Lots of cool graphics to look at while slurping on a cocktail.
There is a beautiful hawthorne tree that blooms outside during the summer months.

This place is a hidden gem in Seattle. I feel very welcome for being myself. I'm a gay guy and feel very welcome. I come for drag bingo and it is awesome I would highly recommend it to anybody. You will be amazed of the laughs and fun you will have.

Huge venue with a downstairs and super cute atmoshere and decor. Friendly bar tenders and the honey habanero sandwich with tots was great! Lots of options on tap, as well. The downstairs arcade opened at 7 pm, so plan accordingly.

Dude checking IDs at the door is legitimately incompetent. First time my fully real Id was rejected. I don’t know how he is employed. Concerning for the establishment.

bartender girl downstairs with the bad hat was horrible and mean to my girl trying to cash in her free drink ticket that she won at bingo. she was trying to order a gin and tonic and the girl went ā€œSPEAK UP IVE TOLD YOU THIS 8 TIMES TONIGHTā€ knowing damn well she had only been up to the bar twice. and neither time had there been a problem. idk if mary was having a bad night but maybe dont berate someone for not yelling at you immediately. soured the whole vibe for everyone and we left. ew

So cute! So much potential! But watered down drinks and grumpy bar staff. The ambiance was everything - so freaking fun butI will likely not return because the energy ruined the vibe.

The staff were consistently professional, greeting us promptly and handling the bustling crowd with calm efficiency... Their attention to detail made the evening flow smoothly, and I appreciated how they balanced the lively carnival atmosphere with courteous service. I left feeling both relaxed and impressed by the teams coordination

One of the founders being green friend greedo. Yall have always had an awesome bar and a lit environment and I love popping in and no one knowing who the hell I am. As the heart of Seattle I would say it’s a landmark spot at this point and worth the visit.
