This might be the first place I’ve been to in Seattle that left me thinking “eh I don’t need to come back here”. Went to brunch with friends and the food was just very mid to me. Cold potatoes and lukewarm scramble, not a lot of flavour, small portions, and being asked to leave so more guests could be served whilst catching up with friends didn’t help haha (I understand why being asked to wrap it up and it wasn’t my first time being asked in a restaurant, feels like a seattle thing to me). It was a cute place and seems like a lot of people like it, but for me personally I’ll seek out a different place for brunch.

Great ambiance, very comfortable vibe…but our bartender was unfriendly, disinterested, and slow. Also, the old fashioned was probably the worst I’ve ever had, that being said…I can be an old fashioned snob. I live a half block away and honestly I don’t think I’d go back.

Terrible low vitamin D vibes from the staff...
I'll never eat there again

I received a gift card for my Birthday in April, We had been meaning to stop in for a date night and finally did it last night. Omg. Its my new favorite place. We had great cocktails, apps, and an open faced sandwich. We ended with the most delicious slice of carrot cake to go! I can't wait to bring more of my friends and family here, I hate that I waited so long to check it out. They are doing a great job here and Im glad its in the neighborhood.

Food was okay. I think it’s way overhyped based on reviews. Brisket omelette was disappointing, saloon breakfast was very basic. At least the focaccia was good.

I've been coming here since Michelle opened the doors, and always have a wonderful experience combining great tastes, great service in an awesome local environment. Could be the best fried chicken in all of Seattle! This is the finest of neighborhood gathering spots that never disappoints! Love everything about Union, and look forward to my next meal.

So yummy, ordered the greens and eggs with the spicy sausage and I will definitely be back for more. The hot sauce was also excellent.

I had the braised cheeks. Great flavors, not enough meat, but that's subjective. I also had a Mimosa, which was delicious. Their drip coffee is tasty. They also have a saloon coffee with cream and brandy I need to try next time. For dessert I had the pot de creme.
Awesome brunch spot

Many brunch items options, but overall a bit salty. I liked the fried chicken waffle and mushroom scramble, except the salty part. Good portions and great prices.
Great atmosphere. Arrived Sunday at noon, had to wait a few minutes to get seated.

Had a last-minute brunch on a Sunday and was delighted to dine here. All 5 of us fit comfortably into a booth. Street parking was easy. The place was busy with the aire of calmness. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I shared the waffle and pork verde. Both are excellent choices. Pork was so tender, the egg perfectly poached, and the dish wasn't over sauced. The waffle had the outer crunch I crave in a waffle, and the lemon ricotta combo was sublime. There was even a nice rhubarb-lemon NA spritzer I was able to enjoy. Great pre meal drink. I'd be interested in coming back for lunch or dinner. ? 2 drinks and two entrees before tip: $55.

The brisket is incredible. Come just for that. But also enjoy the amazing cocktails, fried chicken, and the fact it doesn’t break the bank to eat here.
