Been coming here for over 20 years. Best Chinese food ever. Salt n pepper wing to die for. Do yourself a favor ..get the wings and a beer for an appetizer... Mongolian beef four stars with green beans. You won't be disappointed. Yu Mei is the owner and one of the nicest person you'll ever meet. Takes her job as an owner very seriously. Been nothing short of awesome all the years I've been going!

I have been looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant in Seattle area and my search ended here. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent.
The place has been around for 33 years and I was very happy to find it. Ordered MuShu Chicken—rare to find this traditional dish, the quintessential Kung Pao Chicken and Vegan MaPu Tofu. Will visit Uptown China again for sure.

A family favorite for over thirty years, with a great bar and warm service. Great old school Chinese menu, hard to find these days elsewhere. Fast service perfect if you are hitting an event at SIFF, KEXP or the Seattle Center.

Good food and well
Located.
Great service. Fast friendly and awesome!
Nice staff but very bland food. No flavor unfortunately
It was Amazing food! The only issue was there was only one server working by themselves, so it took a bit! But no complaints! Amazing food and nice atmosphere

The food is always amazing, especially the chicken wings, pot stickers, and bbq pork fried rice. The owner is also so sweet!
We wanted to like it more but not as flavorful as we are used to. In fairness dine in could be better.
Delicious food, excellent service and the drinks! If you know, you know. 😉
I absolutely loved my Mongolian beef and rice for lunch. It was sweet and spicy and very flavorful. I would highly recommend this spot for lunch.

Their food has always been fine, but $17 for this broccoli, which definitely isn't Chinese broccoli, is madness.
