Excellent Chinese restaurant with consistently fresh, flavorful dishes and generous portions. Everything we ordered was hot, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. The menu offers a great variety of classic favorites and house specialties, making it easy to find something for everyone. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food was ready quickly. A reliable spot for both dine-in and takeout — we’ll definitely be back.

I'm at the event center for our show and wanted Chinese and saw this place a short walk. It's very clean and comfortable inside. I sat in the bar area which was enjoyable because music was at a nice level and you could talk to people. I was met by my waitress immediatelyand order in under 2 mins even though she was the bartender also. It was busy because of the Dave Chappelle show tonight. I ordered General Tso chicken and rice. To me it was not spicy and not what I was used to. The chicken its self was great, cooked nice and was crisp and not hard. The chicken was tender and the white rice was fresh. Everything was hot. So nice to have hot food delivered. My waitress noticed I didn't eat a lot but it was fine with me. I didn't want it to go. She immediately notified the owner who was there. She was so nice and tried everything to get me to eat something else. We talked and I told I was good and satisfied enough. Just by chance she's going to the show. What a great woman from our short interaction. I will definitely return here for another meal on my next show I bring to the arena. Thank you.

The food is the opposite of delicious.
Loved it!! We hardly ever miss a Chinese restaurant when we travel and this time we struck gold. It was a short walk from our hotel and not too far from the Needle if you want great Chinese food. We got there early and wondered if we made a bad decision because we were the only people in the dining area. Before we finished our meal the place was hopping with to-go orders and almost half of the dining room full.

I'm east asian, so I have a high standard for american chinese. I loved the mongolian beef and the sesame chicken. It was crispy and not that greasy and sweet like the ones in NY. We highly recommend it.

Delicious! Came for lunch with a girlfriend, happily over ordered between the lunch and dinner menu and went home with leftover beef lo mein, kung pao chicken, friend rice and walnut shrimp.

Really need a 6th star for this place. I love the atmosphere, food, service and the staff is amazing and most of them have been there for 20+ years. The owner will great and treat you like your part of her family even though we only make it down there couple times a year from Mukilteo she always remembers us. 😍 I would like to add a topper a few months later YuMei saw my car get a parking ticket and when I walked back in she took the ticker from me and paid it. Can you name another owner that would do that let me know I want to visit them also. Your really missing out if you haven't sat in the bar and b.s with Fred your really missing out. He's been there for 30yrs same guy he was in his 20's All around old and new school bartender mixed into one. Thanks YuMei and Fred for being such a great team that has made it through to good and bad times of running a business in Seattle. Especially now. Hit the bar before a Kracken game you won't be disappointed.

This has always been my favorite Chinese food spot. Ordered take out on their website and the dish came with no rice when I paid $25 for….. just chicken? I know places are like this now but it’s so stingy and sad. Plus it used to be bottomless rice. Everywhere in this neighborhood is leaning in so hard to the price gouging and it’s just sad for locals that want some take out for dinner.
Jenny is thr best bartender in the town

I stopped by Uptown China in Seattle and had a really good experience. The food came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned especially the General Tso’s chicken and fried rice. The service was friendly and fast, and the portions were generous for the price. The restaurant has a cozy, relaxed feel, and everything was clean. Definitely a solid spot for comfort Chinese food in the city. I’ll be coming back for sure.
