One of the best lattes I've ever enjoyed. :)
Not bad, decent coffee, good wifi and pleasant environment, but prices are wild, after various fees, paid almost $10 for a standard 12oz oat latte. And sadly no gluten-free food options.

This place needs to try harder.
Used to be consistently good, but in recent years the daily availability AND quality of food has gone way down (the egg in the breakfast sandwiches is like eating a hockey puck), the staff is never the same from one time to the next, there's never enough staff, and the prices are just as high if not higher than the two places parked across the intersection, one being a full-service restaurant and the other a Starbucks. I don't want to support the latter, yet this location just doesn't seem to care enough to be competitive. I know there's been a change in either ownership or the chef or something, but this inconsistency and subpar quality while still charging you a high premium has gone on too long and now I no longer want to frequent it.

I want to like this place because it’s one of the few coffee shops in Magnolia, but I don’t get the positive reviews here. I’ve been in twice and not only is it overpriced, but the coffee is mid/unimpressive.
Staff has been rude both times. It’s the energy of “what do you want? cool, now leave”.
First trip I ordered just a cold brew - nothing to write home about, but tasted stale and was way overpriced. Second time I ordered a latte extra hot- was even talking with the barista about why this is nice because it stays hot longer- it was literally tepid and I just drank it all in one go before my walk because I didn’t want to carry around a cold drink.
Won’t be going here again unless I’m forced to 😂

Located in Magnolia Village, this branch of Uptown Espresso is light and fairly big - a good place for meeting a friend. They serve good espresso and a small amount of snack food / baked goods.
Parking is decent around here.
Given them a few tries but then tend to over steam their milk and take little to no care in the preparation of their lattes. I've lived in Magnolia for 4+ years now and I just wish this place were better

A cafe who has undermined themselves by sourcing the grossest coffee from Fonté which has been burnt to oblivion.
I've repeatedly gone back giving them the opportunity to succeed, but the results are always incorrigible.

Uptown Espresso is a great spot for coffee lovers! I tried both the Fonte coffee and the matcha latte — and they were both fantastic. The coffee was smooth and bold, while the matcha latte was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. Cozy vibe and quality drinks make it an easy favorite for a caffeine fix! ☕🍵✨

We are staying in the area and this was our first choice. There is another green place across the street but we like real coffee and supporting small businesses.
That said ...
I was in very early both days of our stay and the store was empty.
Music was low and the decore was perfect.
Megan was working both days and remembered both my and my wife's orders. She was great to talk to about the area. She gave great advice on things to see and do.
A future travel guide in the making!!
The breakfast pastries were amazing and the maple topped coffee cake.
Wow.
Bar none. The best coffee cake I have ever had.
Thank you Megan you are an amazing person, you made us feel right at home.
This location is comfortable, chill and always has good people working in it (except for that one time but we won’t talk about that 😅). They have a great new menu with sandwiches, burritos and pastries that are delicious.
