The pastry is old and damp tasting - no idea how often or where it is delivered from but the muffin tasted like it was stored in a musty basement for a month prior to serving. I dared not eat it, and spat out the first bite into a napkin, throwing the rest away. The atmosphere: it is crowded and noisy. It was also extremely hot, the heat must have been jacked up to 80 degrees or so. On a cold day where people come in wearing their coats, you do not want the heat so high that it immediately causes customers to break out in a sweat. The bathroom was smelly - you could tell it is not properly cleaned because it wreaked of old urine. Also, it is not handicap/disability friendly, it is a single bathroom with an inner swinging door, no room for a wheelchair or even a walker.

This is a bright and friendly spot. The staff is friendly and fast. The hot breakfast and some of their coffees are pretty tasty. It can get crowded and their os a shortage of outlets. Sometimes groups meet here to knit and socialize or play cards.

Probably the best latte/mocha I've had in Seattle, but it's for a steep, steep price. Only come here when I need a real pick-me-up reward once in a blue moon. Makes for a great hang-out spot and study cafe tho.

Unfortunately, I'll be less inclined to come back. Suggestions to business owner.

I had an agenda to pick up to go lunch from 3 businesses down. Then come back for the coffee. Then leave. All takes 10min.

Was yelled at and told I can't park there even if I'm going to make a togo purchase in 10mins at their coffee shop. Said only customers actively IN THE SHOP can park there.

I'm not sure that's a good business decision as customers sitting likely spend $25 top on coffee. But come and go customers likely $8 EVERY 10 min. The ROI is obvious here.

In store customers will hold up parking space of the limited 8 spaces.

This is just simple math. 🤷‍♀️

Just a suggestion. Up to the business owner if they want return customers.

EDIT: bad decaf beans, over roasted, oily. Maybe the other beans are better.

I was going to grab a few iced coffees here after I picked up my to go order from the diner across the street. I parked, and was chased and yelled at by a rude, angry employee. He demanded that I move my car immediately. I explained that I’m just grabbing a to go order across the street and then coming to purchase coffee. He told me he didn’t care. Summer Fest started today and the only parking is $20.. The entire 3 minutes it took me to get my order nobody used the spot I was in or the others available in their lot. Obviously I didn’t go back for coffee and I will not go here again. I’d recommended going to Hotwire, Freshy’s, Olympia coffee, or West Seattle grounds where they support local businesses and are very kind and helpful.

Atmosphere and location are great, but $7.50 for a latte and horrible WiFi. If you need to work remote reliably, I wouldn’t count on this location.

I bought drip coffee here for the first time. Honestly, the coffee was delicious. I wasn't expecting such a flavorful robust taste. I was impressed. If your looking for good drip coffee, this is a great place to get it.

I tried the Matcha with 2% milk and it was good. I like my Matcha bitter and not sweet. My husband had their Earl Grey tea.

Super weak coffee. We are Americano people and it was very disappointing, especially after waiting close to 20 minutes (yes I timed it) after taking a sip and pondering if it would be worth it to get back in line to “fix” our drinks, I finally did…hey it’s almost $5 per drink and we knew that we wouldn’t enjoy them. I finally got my opportunity to ask for our drinks to be corrected, only to be told that the “owner” only gives 2 shots for a 20 oz. Americano. I expected for them to give us an added shot…which they did, and promptly charged me for. Too bad, we won’t be back.
