one of the worst dining experiences I've had.
food took 55 minutes to arrive, after a promise of 20 "because we're busy" (they were)
forgot an appetizer...but did remove it from the bill
salmon sandwiches were not very good

I don’t know what the deal is with restaurants in Seattle but they all suck. It’s like you go to a place where you think they should have world famous quality food and you get nothing but crap. This restaurant in this hotel was sort of hit or miss. I had one good meal the first night and then the rest of the meals I had were Literal crap. The last night I paid $75 for an overcooked piece of halibut that was drowned in the saltiest nastiest sauce I’ve ever tasted in my life. The green beans were so so tough if you couldn’t cut them with a knife I had to just pick them up and chew them. I ate the fish I didn’t wanna complain anymore about this place anymore. They cannot even serve a decent salad. Don’t eat there. Go to a fast food restaurant at the mall and save your money.

Awesome spot. Great seafood chowder and customer service. Will be another of my spits when I visit Seattle.

Way too slow for breakfast.
I ordered an omelette 37min ago, still waiting.

Please hire enough kitchen staff if you want to be open for breakfast @Hyatt

Solid place to get seafood at the Hyatt. It’s definitely pricey but that is to be expected for a restaurant in the Hyatt. The food is good, but there’s nothing special about the food so it’s the biggest selling point is that it’s in the Hyatt.

The oysters were fresh and I liked the lemon slices. The vinaigrette that came with the oysters was surpassingly good, even though I usually don’t like vinegar. I do wish there was some salt on the table so I could’ve added some salt. But overall the oysters were good. We also go the chowder, which was good but a bit overly salty.

The service is good. We got seated quickly, the food came promptly, and we got the check promptly. I appreciated how they made sure to clean our tables pretty much as soon as we finished a dish.

The inside is well decorated. It feels modern with the blue lighting. They have table and bar seating.

Good food and staff were great. Admin, well, very limited menu. Know they add an 18% service charge, and if you want, add an additional tip that will all go to the server. I don't know if that's a "Seattle thing" (very expensive town) or a Tidal thing. Also, they never answered their phone and appeared understaffed.

Come during happy hour and save your money. Food portions are HUGE but add the 18% fee, makes it not worth it. I would only come back during happy hour. Also double check your bill, they “forgot” to make my drink happy hour pricing.

Dietary restrictions: They have a lot of gluten free options

Fish & Chips (2 pc and a tiny cup of limp fries), a small side salad, and a single well drink for nearly $50.
The fish itself was pretty good but the fries were definitely not and it was all way overpriced.

The bartenders Carlo and Alex were phenomenal, and a real highlight of our trip as a whole. Their enjoyment and expertise in their job was visible and they were an overall joy to chat with

I was in Seattle for a conference and came to Tidal twice because it was so good.
The oysters, fish and chips, cocktails, and even desserts were phenomenal. Clearly, because I had to come back for their weekend breakfast (not pictured because I ate it so quickly).
A special thank you to Veasita, George, and Manty (I apologize if I misspelled names). They were so helpful, personable, and charming. Next time I am in Seattle I will be back for happy hour! I only wish I didn’t leave before the shuck and sip class, I would have been the first to sign up.

Note: AMAZING gluten free options here!

Dietary restrictions: The gluten free options were amazing. The fish and chips was divine. So crispy and moist. The breakfast menu also had a variety of options.

Incredibly bizarre experience of I ordering my food, then being informed that they don't take cash. So they tossed my food and I found another place to eat.

Great food, cool ambiance and an excellent happy hour menu. I had the Tidal+ Wagyu Burger and it had an outstanding flavor. It was extremely juicy. I had the Oysters of the Day, and they set the bar very high. The Seafood Chowder and Band Bang Shrimp were both great!!! Highly recommend. It is diagonally across from the Hyatt Regency in Seattle.

Parking: It is difficult to find parking as it is in downtown Seattle.

My wife and I happened across this place on our honeymoon and met Alex the bartender. He crafted us custom cocktails for our special occasion, and learned what we like and dislike. They were amazing, and we loved it. We now make a special trip every other anniversary to see if Alex is still at Tidal, or if he's been poached or opened up his own place. He's incredibly skilled, and we look forward to next time!

Beautiful, peaceful environment. Lively bar with excellent drinks. Wait staff were professional and took great care of us. The food was decent but nothing I'd write home about.

The meal and service were excellent. The location for downtown access is very convenient. We were in Seattle for a quick overnight prior to a cruise and wanted good seafood. This restaurant provided it well.
