Bring your lunch from home. This place sucks. Expect to pay 20 dollars for inedible food. The chicken tenders are the only thing that usually don’t suck.

Food is non discript cafeteria fair, woman at checkout was stern and curt. So yeah the total hospital cafeteria experience. Usually only partaken of out of necessity.

For the most part, I have had great experiences there. Yesterday morning, May 7th, was first unpleasant experience that I had. I have been going there since Feb. 2014. The food is decent for a cafeteria. My unpleasant experience was being served burnt hash browns by a female whose attitude seemed to be a little burnt. I was reluctant to decline them. I ate the portion that was not burnt.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair parking. There are elevators also.

It's a hospital cafe. You cant expect too much. That being said, with my lower expectations, I was pretty surprised. I wouldn't go here if I wasn't at the hospital for any reason. But I have appts in the mornings occasionally and I always get my breakfast there. Scrambled eggs, two pancakes, bacon and OJ. Pretty darn good considering the stereotype about hospital food. Cost effective as well.If you're at UWMC, it's on the first floor. Take the Pacific Elevators to get there. It's worth it!

If you like food that was left under the heat lamp for much longer than food regularly rules allow, this is the place to go. The lady severing the food was rude to us when we mistook the outmeal for gravy. The fact that she left the tator rounds under the light well past the time limit and the terrible behavior tells you everything you need to know. The girl at the register was pleasently helpful and the made the experience better.
