This place used to be one of the best restaurants around North Seattle/ university village. Happened to be in town Dec 2025 and went there for my favorite chicken salad. Service was non-existent, food took forever, place is super dark/ dimmly lit. And 2 of the 4 dishes my group had were completely sub par. Won't be eating here again anytime soon.

Please update your website when closed on holidays. It would be very helpful for families with children at Seattle Children’s Hospital looking for a place to eat on Thanksgiving or other holidays when not much is open and your website says that you are. Just a common courtesy to have your information updated. Also you may want to shut down your online ordering on these days as well since I’m not sure how I’d get the pizza that I can currently order and pay for. With that in mind we won’t be trying. If you are staying at Seattle Children’s just be aware they are not on top of their socials and internet information. Possibly good food? We will never know. Terrible management of online information.

Grew up coming here all the time with family and friends eating great food, having lots of laughs, being served by helpful friendly staff, and being greeted by Kosta. So nice coming in tonight and having the same wonderful time. It’s been a few years since living in Seattle and many more since living in Sand Point. Aside from the 5/5 nostalgia was also a 5/5 experience. Thank you Kosta and crew!

The food is 10/10. Drinks are good. Patrons are kind. And staff is attentive. We've been down here a lot for chemotherapy for our 16 year old and there's not a lot that can make that better, but Varlamos has. Thank you!
