First time at Vendemmia. We won an auction prize from Project Feast. We were delighted by the tasting menu. The flavors were unique and complementary. The courses were more than satisfying. A really lovely restaurant in a beautiful neighborhood. Thanks! We will be back.
This is one of our favorite places to eat in Madrona. Outstanding servers, crazy amazing chef & support team, great food and flavor pairings... you can't go wrong with this place. Their focaccia-burrata-fig appetizer was one of the BEST dishes I have ever had (and we dine out a LOT). Only disappointment was they didn't have the meringue dessert available when we were there last night. But we will be back!
Great restaurant in a buzzing area
This was a wonderful experience for Restaurant Week! And now we have discovered a really exceptional place. Our server was so sweet (and efficient, but that is always second in importance for me); the food was exquisite and served in perfect proportions, beautifully plated; and the manager was able (even though the place was completely full!) to pay such un-rushed and kind attention to everyone. Really, there was no way to improve on this beautiful evening!
Very creative menu for Restaurant Week, served with zest and charm. An exceptionally pleasant evening.
Small spot in Madrona. We sat at a table against the wall and we were cold - as were folks at the other tables in that area. We let them know and, after about an hour, it began to warm up a bit. Our waitperson was very good but the service seemed slow even for a relaxed pace. Took forever to get the bread which we ordered with our order and arrived after our appetizers. Food was spotty - some great, some more just OK. The sauce for the Braised Beef was great but the beef itself was overcooked and dry. The Black Cod was delicious. The pasta was fine but not spectacular. Had a great mocktail and some good wine. Appetizers were mostly good but the squash was still firm and undercooked. Excellent tiramisu, olive oil cake, and cobbler. Glad we tried it but don't think we will go back.
Simply the best date night food we have ever had. The combination of four appetizers and 2 shared mains (salmon and black cod) and 2 yummy desserts was incomparable!
Food is consistently delicious, and the ambience is cozy and charming. It's pricy but worth it for a nice dinner. Restaurant fills up so usually a good idea to reserve a time, although if it's a nice day there are often available seats outside.
Very cute restaurant and we're glad we went but may not go again. We were a little disappointed that many of the food options on the menu were sold out by Sunday and there were a few substitutes added to the menu, the bill ended up being around $125-$135 a person for two drinks, a shared appetizer and entrée and shared dessert. This was my birthday dinner and so I think we had a little bit higher expectations, but the staff was nice, but our waitress told us many times that she's so glad it was her Friday cause this week was too much. I just felt like I was a little bit of a nuisance. I would be open to try in the restaurant again, but would try earlier in the week.
This is our neighborhood restaurant but we feel so very fortunate because it always feels like a special treat to walk down the street and visit this special place. The food is superb and the service top notch. Manager is amazing and always there to lend a hand. You will become a regular even if you don't live in the neighborhood.

What a great neighborhood restaurant. The 2 server in the entire restaurant handled the large crowd with grace, professionalism, and 5-star service. Everything was phenomenal...the food, wine, ambiance, service, etc. Our server offered great suggestions and when asked to "surprise us" with a dessert, he nailed it. Thanks Vendemmia.
A neighborhood gem that my husband and I have been frequenting for years. The starters, pastas and proteins are consistently delicious. Their newest chef Esteban has brought new flavors to accompany the long-time favorites (can spaghetti get any better?!). And the staff manage to bring a Cheers like atmosphere “where everyone knows your name” to an upscale environment.
My one critique is that their in-house tiramisu has been replaced with a mediocre substitute - I really don’t understand why. Please bring back your original tiramisu!

super service and amazing food. Everything on the menu looked fantastic. And when they had to make a change or substitution, it was to keep it fresh and current! we will go back!!!
