The woman who served me this morning was so lovely and kind that I wound up buying cupcakes as well as a coffee. Dog friendly business (for well-behaved doggos, of course). The cupcake was tasty and fresh on a Saturday morning. Is it the best cupcake I’ve had or made? No. But was it still a very good cupcake? Yes. I would definitely go back if we stay in this neighborhood next visit.

Businesses that no longer take cash are part of the growing war on those that live in poverty. Especially coffee shops and restaurants. Not everyone has a credit card, or even a bank account for that matter! Not to mention, there are plenty of people that only get paid in cash!Personally, I was looking forward to grabbing a coffee from one of Seattle's well known small businesses and coffee shops while walking my dog. Alas, all I had on me was cash!Do better Verite. Do better.

We have coming here for 2 years but no more. The staff is sullen and looks like they could care less, always on their phones. The restrooms are dirty or broken. It lacks atmosphere, music or even heat it seems. There are other coffee places in Seattle.PS… the cupcakes on Saturday on STALE!

Unfriendly service, none of them seemed to care whether or not we sought to buy their coffee drinks or their cupcakes. The almond milk latte I bought was bland and tasteless. No reason to go back. It was sad how I heard one speak rudely to the customer before me.

Coffee is good and every barista is very friendly and good at what they do. Cupcakes sell out quick just fyi.

I had a chai tea latte and a white chocolate, cranberry cupcake. It was cutely decorated and a nice spot to just read. I cant wait to try their homemafe ice cream
