Nice no frills coffee shop with delicious coffee, alt drinks and a pretty decent baked good offering (not made in house). There is a little fridge with a limited selection of food. Actually fills up pretty quick with laptoppers, old school style. There is secret parking in the back but it's common to get boxed in.

The Beacon Hill location feels like community, home, and it's been such a highlight ever since I moved nearby! Baristas are always super kind (shoutout to Brittany who is somehow always here when I come!) They recently switched to a paninni press to heat up sandwiches and though it takes a little bit longer, it really shows the attention to quality, and makes the sandwiches taste homemade.Just wanted to add that I think some of these reviews are funny, it's goofy to complain about coffee prices when going to a coffee shop... the prices are up-front, get drip if you don't want to spend too much! From what I can tell, they're charging just a bit more than a certain big name coffee chain is and yea - a small batch local roaster is worth the price.

The person working was very nice but extremely methodical...meaning not fast. I paid $9 for a 16oz soy mocha. That's a stupid price for any coffee drink. And there was only a mild chocolate flavor with an inch of foam.If the cost goes up a dollar for adding chocolate, I want to taste the chocolate. And I don't want a wet cappuccino, I want a mocha drink. But mostly I don't want a coffee that is the same price as a meal.

The coffee is entirely subpar, especially considering the price point. HOWEVER, the reason I was even prompted to write this review was because of the poor service I've received every time. I don't go often, but its in a convenient location. Every time I have been, I have unfortunately had to encounter the barista with the short hair. I had told her I had an order for pickup and she only responded with "Yup." and then gave me my drink. There was no "Here you go!" or "Have a nice day!" This normally wouldn't bother me, however my experience was a direct juxtaposition between the customer in front of me. The barista was laughing and making small talk with the customer in front of me and when she turned to serve me, it was like a flip of a switch. The overall environment in the coffee shop is unwelcoming and hostile. You'd think for being located in such a diverse and vibrant neighborhood, this wouldn't happen, but clearly that is not true.

Great coffee, decent food, but honestly the biggest takeaway for me was the service. I have never felt more unwelcome in a coffee shop. I can understand someone having a bad day, and maybe I truly just got unlucky, but after 3 visits, receiving the same bad service each time, I gave up and moved on.If the baristas that helped me were truly just having a bad day, I wish you the best.

My go to coffee shop. Sometimes they have a great selection of pastries and sometimes it’s below par. But I’m always happy with the atmosphere✨Vegetarian options: If they have pastries they’re usually all vegetarianDietary restrictions: Do not attempt to eat there with a nut or gluten allergy.Kid-friendliness: I’m not sure I’ve ever seen kids here, but I assume it would be fine?

This place was cute! My dad and I stopped in and ordered vanilla lattes. They were expensive. But good. But not sure if $17.50-something is worth it for two lattes honestly. And that’s without tip! We enjoyed sitting in the shop though. Good place to meet up with friends or family, and people were doing work on laptops here too. Barista who took our order was super lovely!

Such a cute coffee shop in Beacon Hill! I love when coffee shops have unique, non-coffee drinks and they currently have a golden latte special! They also have a locally-made kombucha on tap. We visited around 4pm, and there were still pastries available, so we picked up a very tasty squash bread. Victrola also works with a local artist each month to display their work in the shop! I got to see this month's artist set up her work, and the paintings were so fun and colorful!

Great coffee and a cozy place to spend some time with a friend or do some work on your computer. The only downside is lack of real parking (just street parking available) and a somewhat sketchy area.

Cute little local coffee spot. The drinks were okay. The coffee was very tart which I personally don't really like.Vanilla latte didn't really taste like vanilla.

Served expired and stale baked goods, and an "iced chai latte" that was essentially all milk, dumped it out at the next intersection as I didn't want a cup of just straight up milk. The croissant was so stale that I could hardly chew through it, and when I pointed out the cookie I ordered had an expiration date from 5 days ago they took the sticker off and handed me another one from right next to it without a sticker. The cookie smelled suspicious and will probably be tossed out since I can't trust their food safety practices. We also asked for a nitro cold brew and they said the machine takes too long to set up, so they didn't want to do it. I don't know what changed from last time I was here but I won't be back, and will warn others away. The beans were good, and that was the only saving grace from a one star review.Vegetarian options: No vegan options for food, and limited vegetarian food.
