Maybe the baristas had a hard day? Service was cold shoulder, atmosphere played hard music (heavy metal) and the mocha and coffee (for two) $20?? I can get better service and a more relaxing atmosphere elsewhere.

it looks like the lobby of an office building that reconsidered halfway through and became a café instead. I ordered a cortado with a light roast: bright, fruity, beautifully clean cup. When it was handed to me, I gave a quiet “thank you” in a voice only I could hear; without looking up, the barista quickly offered an equally nervous “you’re welcome,” tiny enough to almost to make sure the other doesn’t hear. Somehow it made my day. :D

Victrola Coffee is a great spot for a caffeine fix in Seattle.
However, the food options were a bit limited. I would have liked to see more healthy, savory choices beyond just the pastries and laminated items. A few lighter, healthier savory options would make this café even better!

I visit the Victrola on 3rd in downtown Seattle. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere in the heart of Seattle 2 blocks from Pike Place Market. Attentive staff serving excellent coffee drinks along with breakfast food and to go sandwiches. If you like Lattes you won't be disappointed.
It's located in the old Bon Marche building. Service paces well with the demand.
