Second visit, second flawless meal. We started with the burrata and the anchovies—both outstanding. For entrées, the pork belly and the Steelhead were perfectly executed. For dessert, we had the chocolate ganache and the crème brûlée. No regrets—both were fantastic.

Service was just as flawless—polished without being pretentious.

I compare pricey restaurants to taking my family to a Mariners game: when they win, it’s a great night; when they lose, I feel cheated. My record with Seattle’s upscale restaurants is about as mixed as the Mariners’. But this place? Batting a thousand.

Will return.

All the food felt so dated, like fine dining in the early aughts. Every meat dish had a sweet component. The drinks were pretty terrible as well. Our server was nice. The food and drinks just really left something to be desired.

We started with burrata strawberry with pesto sauce in appetisers which was really good. Their bread was also nice and soft. We ordered asparagus Risotto for the main course ( we were told it will take time but we were not told it will take 1 hour to prepare which was quite a lot to wait for your food). That was the most disappointing part - waited for our main course for ONE HOUR!! Though it turned out decent in taste which compensated little bit for the wait time. That’s why i will rate them overall 4 star because food tasted good and server was also friendly.
Their seating is not too comfortable for big people specially their chair.

Dining at Violet in Seattle was an extraordinary experience. Each dish showcased a harmonious blend of flavors, highlighting the chef’s respect for high-quality ingredients. The wine pairings were thoughtfully selected, and the unexpected gift of champagne added a delightful touch. The attentive service and warm ambiance made the evening unforgettable. I look forward to returning soon.

This place was excellent for a small team dinner. The food was *chef’s kiss* - my first bite was literally a piece of lettuce and who knew that could be a “wow moment.” The vibes were cozy and chill and our server, Kevin, was a delight. Incredible food, great wine, delicious options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike(I had the scallops, yum!)—a total win.

Amazing staff - amazing food - LOVE that the owner / chef stops by and greets EACH table - I'm a repeat diner so VIOLET will see me again!

Have been to violet many times- never disappoints. Food and service is exquisite at a reasonable price. The Omakase experience is really something for a special occasion.

Two huge tables (16+) of folks and poor ordering by the restaurant meant they were out of the dishes we wanted by 6.30 pm. I had a tiny appetizer as my main course, and it still took an hour to get our dishes. Understaffed as well. I'd still go back, hoping they have what I'd eat- and my husband loved his lamb.

My partner and I were here for our first anniversary dinner and we had a phenomenal experience dining at Violet. Every single dish and drink that arrived were delicious and tastefully done. Our waiter also went above and beyond for us. A huge thank you to all of the Violet staff and Chef William Belickis. We couldn't have made a better choice to celebrate our special day here.

Exceptional neighborhood Bistro. Our 3rd visit. Incredible, fair priced wine list. We had steelhead and scallops, oh my goodness. The waiter perfectly paired wines with each individuals entrée after most lovely cocktails. Great Mezcal Negroni!

When you keep a party waiting for over an hour for their entrees, you could apologize and explain the delay, and offer a complimentary glass of wine. Violet did none of these things. Disappointing (esp after spending nearly $300 on our party).

We've always like this place. We tend to go early though - might be a better experience because of this.
