Great donuts, and experience. A lot to pick from, and if you don’t care if you donuts been sitting out for a few hours, then you’ll love this place. If you enjoy more freshly made donuts, ask for the donuts that were made last.

Absolutely ridiculous experience at Voodoo Doughnuts. They had customers waiting outside in freezing temperatures while the employees were inside dancing, singing, and socializing instead of doing their jobs. I watched one poor guy stand outside for 10 minutes just to pick up his order, and after he finally got his food and left, they took another 3 minutes before letting the next person in—because they were too busy messing around.

I get that having a fun work environment is important, but not at the expense of customer service. If you don’t have the human decency to let people stand in store while waiting—and you must make them wait in freezing temperatures, at least be efficient about it. The only reason why I rated customer service one star, was because Google doesn’t give me the option to rate it lower.

It was freezing today at 30F, the staff made us all wait outside in the freezing cold even though there was only one customer inside the shop. The store could easily fit all of us (5 in total) in the queue. Staff could not look more indifferent to our suffering. Have some compassion and be more considerate in this cold, especially we are the customers. Totally terrible experience.

We tried the mango, the chocolate cake and the Voodoo donut. Loved the mango donut the best. It had a nice sweet and tart mango filling inside. The chocolate cake one was okay. The Voodoo one had a nice raspberry filling inside. Went on a Friday afternoon and there was a short line that moved quickly. Quick service inside. The shop is on a main, busy road and there is no parking outside. Prepare to park in one of the side streets and walk if driving here.

It was late at night when I went here, but still kinda steady. They have a sign on their door to try to wait outside the door until the person in front of you Inside is finished. They have great selection, but man...doubled the price. Very good doughnuts though and unique combinations.

Taste was like the flour they used was stale. I’ve never tasted something that tasted fresh and stale at the same time.
Just go to half n half! 1000x better!

I've been meaning to come by. I heard that they were setting up a location near me, and I was excited to check it out. I went early in the day, and it wasn't very crowded, I was very busy taking it in and taking pictures. I felt someone approach me quickly, and I turned. An employee was about to grab my arm, and they mumbled "oh your only taking pictures." I don't know what they thought I was doing, I was merely politely waiting my turn and taking pictures. It was very disconcerting, the situation almost triggered my fight or flight instincts. I was next in line, and I decided on the Old Dirty Bastard, mostly because of the name, lol. The clerk gave me a blank look when I asked for an ODB, I guess the reference was lost on em. Other than the weird moment, I enjoyed the locations quirky shop. The Old Dirty Bastard, is a very sweet confection. I have since been back twice more. Once with family and alone. I love the doughnuts, so far I've tried the Old Dirty Bastard, the Diabolis Rex and the Memphis Mafia. I think my favorite is the Memphis Mafia thus far. I enjoy Voodoo Doughnuts, tho the service and experience is not like the Portland location.

This Voodoo is trying to get their things together still. The week of opening they were great like usual Voodoo but ever since they have been consistently inconsistent. They seem to be trying to teach their new staff how to do things correctly and for example I have gotten the maple cream a few times and the filling has been the wrong one each time. It was sour and off in color. Last time we had an old fashioned doughnut and it was overly greasy. We look forward to coming back after some time once this location is up to par with the typical Voodoo experience.

Came here while on vacation in Seattle. There was a long line and had to wait about 30 minutes to come inside. Once we got inside, staff were very nice and gave recommendations about the more popular doughnuts. Donuts were visually very good but just slightly better than average in taste, though, they had many unique doughnuts. Atmosphere inside was very cool. Would strongly recommend you visit and try!

We visited on a Sunday, and placed an online order. We arrived to the store to find a long line wrapping around the building. I was instructed that for online orders, you can enter through the exit door and go to the dedicated register. However, nobody was at the dedicated register, and nobody was acknowledging the people waiting for online orders.

When someone did finally acknowledge the few of us, they just said “not yet”. My order was finally ready 25 minutes AFTER the scheduled pickup time (45 minutes after I ordered). This would have been fine if there had been status updates or some type of acknowledgment of us waiting there…. But instead I was stuck there not even knowing if they had started working on the order at all. I know they are busy, but don’t allow online orders if you don’t have a system in place to acknowledge and update those who come to pick up their orders. They actively avoided any eye contact and interaction.

As for the donuts, they were good. Not amazing, & not worth the hype. If this place was closer to home and less busy, I’d go once in a while. But I would never ever wait in that line for these. I think top pot is far superior!
