We had a reservation and arrived 15 min early. There were plenty of tables open, however we were told that since someone called in sick we could not be seated until our reservation time (which was understandable). We then asked if we could just sit at the large bar, which only had one guest, and wait. We were told no, that she was helping the only server so she would not be able to get us drinks at the bar and we could not wait there. When we were finally seated we told our waitress (which we realized was the only server for the entire restaurant) we would like to order drinks and food right away as we were trying to make an 8:45 show (1hr 20min from time of order). Long story short, we were late for the show waiting. Waited about 20 min for drinks and what seemed like a lifetime for food. Food did not seem to meet the price point, and service fell very short.

英訳 I visited with a colleague from work. They have happy hour all day on Tuesdays. We enjoyed reasonably priced and delicious food. The atmosphere was quiet and easy to talk in, and the staff were friendly and offered Japanese-style hospitality. I came to Seattle on a business trip from Japan, but I would definitely like to come back again.

First time eating here and during the happy hour- super great portions, Not a fan of well drinks - so that wasn't a disappointment. My wife loved the generous portions of salmon and a roll of salmon , avocado and another item I forget. Great attentive server . One minor issue while the staff was opening and the hostess ignored me sitting while I waited ,to help new folks that just walked in. Food was excellent

Hidden gem and also long time staple in Belltown. Fantastic sushi, great drinks (try the whiskey high ball), really kind and helpful staff. The happy hour is a big bonus. Always a great time at Wann!Dietary restrictions: Good options for a variety of dietary needs (including gluten and dairy free)

The quality and price of the foods here is stellar for out-of-towners visiting Seattle. The staff were super friendly and kind. I ordered the takoyaki, pickled veggies, and unagi danbori for myself because might as well try new things! The pickled veggies was simple and delicious as an appetizer part 1. The takoyaki was also super delicious and great to share. For the “non-adventurous “ eaters, this is kind of like a fried fish ball but that’s underselling how great it is. The unagi danbori plate was phenomenal. I’ve never tried unagi before and it was great.I also recommend the yuzu high ball. I will be coming back next time I’m in Seattle.

Not very busy in a late January, Thursday night, which suited the four us perfectly. Service was excellent, food looked, smelled, and tasted outstanding. On par with restaurants I have enjoyed in northern Japan.

I recently visited Wann Japanese Izakaya and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. The happy hour menu is fantastic, with a variety of small plates and shareable dishes that are perfect for a night out with friends. The sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful, and the kalbi short ribs was a standout dish. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Wann to anyone looking for a cozy and intimate dining experience with great food and drinks!

Very quiet for a Tuesday night. Made a reservation but I don't even think it was necessary. Loved the variety on the happy hour menu. Started off with a salad and edamame, some calamari, then finished with tuna maguro sashimi set (5 giant pieces for $10). The server was extremely attentive and nice. My partner got the okonomiyaki, which was delicious but a little heavy on the fish bonito on top in my opinion. Would love to come back on a busy weekend with a group of friends to try their specialty sushi rolls.

Ordered our food and we there right when they opened. My wife got hers fairly soon. I ordered a sushi roll. It took an hour to get meanwhile the place filled up and everyone else was getting their food. Waitress kept saying she's sorry and it was coming. Finally asked what she could get me quick. She said kitchen was backed up so she was not sure. You'd think she would go back there and put me to the front of the line. Even if somehow my order got lost they should do everything to make it happen.
