If you aren't looking for it, you would miss it, even though it is right on the street. The sushi is more basic, but so good. The agadashi tofu, doesn't come in a broth but it tasted really good with and without thr dipping sauce. Definitely recommend.
Oh! Sushi roll sizes are enormous!

Great prices for Seattle. Food is fresh. Had the tempura sweet potatoe roll. Delicious. Just the right temp and the slices of avocado adorning the top of the rice were placed with care. Served with optional sauces like spicy mayo! Had the sesame chicken rice bowl. Very good but the sesame flavor want strong enough. Freshly cooked. Have had the fried egg rolls and karaage chicken appetizers and always perfectly cooked. nice people. Quiet inside even though on pine by Boren ave. It is quick. Downside is they dont have it set up so that you can see the sushi prepared. But it is an open kitchen so you can see it is clean! Always a plus. Prices again are reasonable for unreasonable inflation seattle. Lived here 30 years so I know what I am talking about. Go check them out. Support a local eatery

Delicious sushi with very good prices. I got the California Crunch roll and my partner got the Salmon Hawaii bowl. We also got a side of edamame and a fried banana roll for desert. Will definitely be coming back.

Slow service. More than 45 minutes from ordering a poke bowl to getting it and the restaurant was not busy. Maybe it was just a tough day.

Happened upon Wasabi Sushi Sea while walking to a different place and decided to go in here instead. What a pleasant surprise. I can't think of a single thing that could be better so 5 stars it is. It is noticeable that the owners put some thought and effort into the decor...three flowering trees inside. The service was prompt and with a smile. The sushi and poke bowls were delish. The best part was the pricing was very reasonable!

Kay and Mimi are both amazing easily some of the best sushi of my life!

The prices have gone up so much. $17 for a poke bowl? The food is good but I can't even justify spending that much.

I’m really confused why this place is so highly rated. The photos are appealing but their sushi burrito and salmon dragon roll was lacking

Popped into here before a show at the Paramount - just a quick jaunt away. Speedy service. We tried two of the sushi burritos and both were very good. I will say the one with crunchy rice on the outside was a little messier and harder to eat but still very good.

really nice people and a lovely atmosphere. the sushi is reasonably priced and tastes fresh. however, they’ve changed their menu significantly and no longer serve more creative options like the hot cheeto sushi burrito :(
