It’s pretty rare to find good vegan breakfast/diner food that isn’t just avocado toast/oatmeal. They knocked it out of the park

Most menu items use faux chicken, beef, etc., which I’m not a fan of but other enjoy. Relatively expensive for pretty basic food. Glad I tried it but will look elsewhere next time I’m in Seattle.

We had TWW deliver some food a couple of times recently. We had French toast, waffles, pancakes, "scrambled eggs," potatoes, a sausage patty, and tempeh "bacon" for breakfast one day. Another day, we had the "meat loaf" and mashed potatoes, the "chiggen fettuccine, and one of the burgers with potato fries for supper. Everything was very tasty and enjoyable!

When I arrived the Diner was really empty. One big group of ~6 people were here. The server just gave us the Menue and it took him ~15 minutes until asking for food. Several times he just stand behind the desk, and wasn’t really doing anything. Came a bit after 3 and asked for breakfast which is served until 3. server said no breakfast anymore. All the dishes were really expensive. So I just had the truffle fries. They were okay. My child had Mac‘n cheese. They claimed it was housemade but I don’t really beliefe because they’re tasting 1:1 like the goodness pasta in Vegan.

Have only been for breakfast/brunch so far, but have made it in a couple times. Everything I’ve tried has been good. Mushroom omelet was fantastic🍄‍🟫

Horrible service in general. Consistently messes up my orders. I just kind of dealt with it except one time I decided to call (it was takeout) and ask for a refund because the fries were genuinely soggy and unseasoned. It was the worst fries I’ve ever had (and i LOVE the wayward fries). It almost felt intentional. They said they’d refund it and then never did.

Good vegan diner food, nothing special but a fun brunch.

The French toast was great, and service was fast and friendly. I could only eat one bite of the tempeh bacon though -- I’m not sure how it was supposed to be bacon-like, it was very granular and not flavorful. I’ve had great tempeh bacon on burgers elsewhere.

Vegetarian restaurants are welcome. Have a nice time.

The menu is very diverse, the portion sizes are huge, there are lots of gluten-free options, the prices are very reasonable for what you're getting, and the service and ambiance are wonderful. It's no wonder why they've won Best of the Pacific Northwest honors at least twice. Even the meat eaters would be highly satisfied. I can't wait to come back!

The old Wayward was a cornerstone of the Seattle vegan community, which the owners were a part of. I was devastated when it closed + thrilled when someone swooped in + resurrected it. Unfortunately, that someone is a meat eating, right wing, anti-vax, climate change denier in Mercer Island. He changed the recipes + hiked the prices by A LOT. I’d rather spend my $$ at a restaurant run by someone who didn’t vote for Trump.

Delectable vegan food! The drumsticks with thai chili sauce and hot hunny were insanely delicious! Our server, who was so kind, recommended the Hillbilly omelette and the Crunchy wrap. Jim and I both absolutely LOVED the wrap! Perfect texture and taste! The omelette was also very flavorful and balanced! I highly recommend checking out the Wayward Vegan when in Seattle! 🌿

I rarely leave 1 star reviews but the lack of service was so bad we had to leave. It was just my friend and I, the restaurant was otherwise empty.

The waitress handed us the menus and less than a minute later, before we could even get a chance to look at them asked us if we were ready to order, of course we were not.

In the meantime a guy comes into the restaurant and takes a nearby table behind us. Five minutes later and we were more than ready to order, but we could not seem to catch her eye, she seemed preoccupied with who knows what.

Finally she starts walking over, but she goes to the guy instead to take his order. Then, without looking in our direction walks away. By now it's been 7-8 minutes. My friend starts waving her arms trying to get this waitresses attention, but alas.

It appeared as though she started stocking the refrigerator and completely forgot about us. It was utterly bizarre to say the least. We were too put off to go up to her and say something, so after 10 minutes we finally left.

Even though we were looking forward to trying this place, there was no way we were going to give these people our money and ended up going to the restaurant next door.

Never again will we step foot in this place. In reading some of the other 1 star reviews it looks like we were probably spared.

I would give 0 stars if it were an option.

I wish I could rate higher. The first time the blue cheese burger and fries were great - good portions, fries were the best we've ever had.

But the second time we got half as many fries, and they had no seasoning like the first time. There were only a few tiny bits of blue cheese on the burger too, which made it dry. For $25 with tax+tip for a burger+fries I expect better consistency and more than 1 teaspoon of blue cheese on the burger. Not sure if we will come back, because don't know if it will be the good burger+fries or just the "meh" ones.

Food was good, but it was wildly overpriced for what we got. My husband and I shared an appetizer and an entree and I had a mimosa for $64 with tip. For the amount of food you get, just don't think it's worth paying that much, especially when we shared all of our food. Service was fine, and the atmosphere was cheerful.
