Solid breakfast place that is very reasonably priced. I had a generous and tasty breakfast burrito. My wife and daughter opted for club sandwiches from the full menu. Generous sides!

I had a very good omelet, coffee and the service was considerate and pleasant. Recommend for a relaxing early morning breakfast.

Patty melt with no cheese and overcooked beef patties on white bread? Dry and unsatisfying.. The wait staff was good considering we were the only folks there at the time.i can't understand the good reviews here. Not willing to return.

Ordered drinks that never arrived. The shrimp cocktail was warm and very little celery. Then 2 guys walked from the back of the restaurant with 3 dogs on leashes. We did not wait for our food, paid and left.

Friendly service and good food at a reasonable price. I especially love the fish and chips and the Southwestern chicken salad. The way they package it for mess-free delivery is really clever.

So what's going on with this place and why is Groupon currently offering a deal as of today?

I live near this place and walk behind it everyday. I heard that it has closed and I hope it has. The place is disgusting. The back of the restaurant is filled with trash and garbage. In fact, today, that part of the alley was filled with spilled used grease, which I suspect came from this place. It was an eyesore and a health hazard waiting to happen. I can't believe that the Health Department itself hadn't closed it by now. I hope it never reopens. It was a scar on the neighborhood.

We come here often! Darts,ping-pong, pool, pin-ball. What more could you ask for!? Being local we have built a friendship with the bartenders and servers and they are very kind and are dedicated to their job. We always bring our friends here for a good time! Being a new bar in the junction, there will be many opinions but for us we love coming here :)

I am OK with ordering at the bar. I am OK with average service. As a business that is trying to make it work on the "doomed" corner, I cannot understand what seems to be a complete lack of care for the experience that their customers have here. The women's bathroom is disgusting...reminiscent of a frat house (dirty, door with no latch, etc). I am a grown adult and would like to order whatever the hell drink I choose, without negative comment from whomever is pouring. Being here for a Seahawks game was fine...plenty of tables before-hand, but we had to clear our own table of used drink glasses, as the server/owners/whomever chose to sit and eat with their buddies instead of making a sweep through the bar 2.5 hours after we arrived to clear the 15 or so glasses our party was done with. I've tried to support this place as I love a good sports bar, but I will hesitate to come back after this experience.

The games are great...The bartender can suck a d@$k. This is a place is a great place to go with a group of friends and you'll have a great time but make sure to watch your tab cause of the d@$k that may be working...he'll over charge you! Overall, go have a good time and play some games!

Meh, average bar with average service. Only thing that makes it worth while is the bar video games- Golden Tee, Mrs MacMan, etc. and decent cheap beer, good dive bar.

I'd like to see the hood really give this place a chance and see the Public House survive the neverending turnover on this corner. Yep, sorry you need to order at the bar, but it's soul is not a restaurant, it is a bar with really great food. Ordering at the bar is not a new concept and it shouldn't be a reason to not go in. Lots of beers on tap and the food I've had has been great! Like really great. Sandwichs, burgers, salads and fries done Canadian style, all delicious. They are trying to go 100% sustainable and in-house from where they get their ingredients, to soon grinding their own meat and pickling well anything they can. I've never had a problem getting to watch whatever team I want on the TV's, even during other more desirable events. The owner is a longtime bartender in some of the best joints in Seattle who's not above still being the bartender here. So come in a get some food. (Disclaimer, I'm not a paid sponsor, friend of the owner, investor or anything along those lines. I just liked it there)

Reading some of these reviews, it makes me sad that people don't give new businesses a few chances. Yes, you order at the bar. It's not a big deal. Since I started coming here they've added on another bartender who helps when it's busy. I've never had any issue with service, whether it be ordering food or getting a drink (do yourself a favor and get the fried pickles!). I come here every week for trivia and it's a ton of fun. My only suggestions are that they list the prices of their pints/pitchers, list their happy hour prices, and scale down their menu. If you're not going to have table service I think it makes sense to not have such an expansive menu.

This is a welcome addition to the Junction for a couple reasons:1. Sports bar IN the JunctionI know Westy is "cool" and The Bridge is a good spot, but neither are in the Junction.2. NHLI can't tell you how happy I am to have a hockey friendly bar in West Seattle. Again, Westy shows hockey, but I don't recall having the sound or being able to get a seat. Westside is so big it's really easy to watch a game. Also, it's a Blackhawks bar first and foremost... as it should be ;)3. MetalI'm not a big fan of metal music, but I love the juxtaposition of metal being played at a sports bar, and West Side Public House provides just that. Which is why henceforth it shall be known as Butt-Rockers' Cove.My only complaint, would be the less than pristine bathrooms. Clean that shizz up yo!

Great sports bar right in the Alaska Junction... the staff is awesome, there's a great selection of rotating taps, the food is excellent, and plenty of TV's showing just about any game you could ask for.
