I've been several times over the last year with my girlfriend and have even taken a couple friends, because the food is really good and the atmosphere is beautiful. It's nice to have restaurants in Morgan Junction, and I want to support them. I keep hoping the service will get better, though. It feels like inconveniencing the staff to be there. Last time we went, I had a similar experience to another reviewer, when the server threw the menus on the table, slammed down the water, then walked away. It went downhill from there. I figured the person may have been having a bad day, but if I'm being totally honest, the staff seems grumpy every time; so maybe it's a general vibe there. There has been one bartender/server who has been kind so far, and he made an incredible cucumber martini. Hopeful for improvements in the welcoming feeling. From reading reviews, there are others who have felt more welcome, so we will give it a few more tries.

Words are not enough to express how much we love this place - mostly it is the gracious and kind people who work here! My husband lost his wedding ring (he put it in his pocket while playing the drums) and didn’t realize it was missing until around midnight - I called, Shane the bartender answered. He searched the whole place and found it! That was above and beyond the call, after closing and cleaning up! Thank you, we will never forget your kindness.

Good atmosphere. Drinks were outstanding (Thank you Nicole) Wings and pretzel very nice and the menu/spirit list had a good variety. They also go out of there to support the local community be it artists, musicians, or just the curious stranger.

Came in a few days ago with a coupe of friends. We were all having a tough time of it that week, and wanted someplace with whiskey, and comfort food that was outside our normal go-tos. Gotta tell you this place did not disappoint! We were greeted right as we walked in even though it was busy, which is always nice. Even though our bartender (Nichole I believe her name is), was taking orders she was able to find a way of answering my questions about what she had without missing a beat. I’m an Irish whiskey person myself, and when I told her what I was looking for, and my price point she quickly pointed me in the right direction, and got me a few amazing pours of different Teelings that were all amazing. The food was fantastic too. I got the Ruben, my friends got the Chicken Strips, and a Cowboy Burger. No misses. The sauces were all delicious, and the Pastrami was magic. I think I remember Nichole telling us the Chicken Strips are fresh made in the mornings too, which is a reason I definitely be going back. We ended up staying longer than anticipated cause every time we’d get up to go to our next stop (we had big plans of mobbing over to The Bridge which I also recommend), another bop would start playing. I live in the city proper, but this is now my new escape when I need to get a break from my normal scene.

Went here yesterday with a group of friends and had such a great experience! The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and Nicole, our server, was especially wonderful, friendly, attentive, and on point. Loved the chill atmosphere, too. Will definitely be coming back!

We visited Whisky West on July 8th at around 5 PM, expecting a pleasant early dinner. The restaurant was far from busy, yet the service we received was shockingly poor.
From the moment we were seated, the experience was downright hostile. Our waitress never greeted us instead, she slammed the menus down on the table without a word, dropping one on the floor in the process. She didn’t even bother to pick it up or apologize. She just set the remaining menus down (instead of handing them to us) and walked away without a single word of welcome.
When she returned with water, still no greeting, no smile, no effort to make us feel like valued customers. She didn’t ask if we had questions, didn’t introduce herself, didn’t even say, "I’ll be back to take your order." Just complete indifference and rudeness.
At that point, we decided we didn’t want to spend another minute in a place where the staff clearly had no respect for guests. We walked out, stunned by how unprofessional and cold the entire interaction was.
Whisky West should be embarrassed. No one should be treated this way especially when the place was mostly empty and there was no excuse for such neglect. Avoid this place if you expect even basic hospitality.

In the area to pick up our rental car and stopped in. Nicole at the bar was amazing! Gave us tons of recommendations to check out in Seattle and even got us some for Portland. Food was amazing as well. Highly recommend!

Have been here multiple times over the years with great food and service. Unfortunately the last time I went (a few months ago) someone came in with their barking dog and asked if they could sit in the back and the waitress for some reason said it was ok. I understand service dog laws and respect them but it's very obvious when it isn't a service dog.

From Mike, who we worked with on the details of the party, to the amazing bar staff (Ben and Shane) and the kitchen crew—everyone was so accommodating, patient, and easy to work with. In all my event planning experiences, this was by far the most seamless and enjoyable. Our party wouldn’t have been the same without their support. Highly recommend this venue for any event!
