I had a pleasant dining experience at Wild Ginger. Despite arriving a bit late, the hostess promptly greeted me and guided me to my table. My server, Daniel, was attentive and ensured that my food arrived promptly, allowing me to attend the concert without any delays. However, the food at Wild Ginger falls short in terms of taste. It lacks the distinctive flavors that make a restaurant truly special. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a quick and satisfying meal before a concert at Benaroya Hall and you're not particularly picky, Wild Ginger could be a suitable choice.
For the main meal we ordered the 7 flavor steak and black pepper scallops and they were delicious. However, we also ordered starters and they were overpriced and not up to normal par. This was our 3rd time to the Wild Ginger. Previous visits were a 5 star experience. We are hoping this was just an off night.
Great food and service. Super convenient for a performance at Benaroya Hall across the street.
The meal and service was excellent. Had the duck, seven flavor beef, butter chicken and green curry chicken. All were outstanding. Will come back
It was WONDERFUL!!! The food there is divine, and the service not only timely but warm and engaging. There were 4 of us cekebrating birthdays, including a 103! Birthday. They made it truly special in every way!!!
The food was utterly delicious, and the waiter was friendly and professional. I'd definitely go back there.
This was our first and, unfortunately, probably last experience at Wild Ginger. Arrived for our reservation for 2 and was issued to a table "in a more private area" of the restaurant. This area felt like a storage room up a few stairs that had been converted to hold 4 extra tables: no ambience at all and we were stuck at a table for 4 right above a very noisy group below us. Our waiter was.....fine. He seemed pretty rushed and very impersonal. Barely had sat down when he immediately wanted our drink orders. Rarely saw him as our food and drinks were brought by different runners. We each ordered a cocktail and those were good. Our food was mediocre. Definitely not great, and, in the case of the crispy prawns, not even good. We hold tickets to several shows at the symphony and had hoped to make this our go-to prior to a show, but after this experience and with the plethora of options in the surrounding area we won't be back. Overall truly disappointing.
Lots of variety of Asian dishes at this restaurant. Food was hot and tasty and came to the table when it was ready. We ordered 8 dishes for 4 people. Server helped us decide on # and combination of dishes, reflecting my requirement for gluten free food. Restaurant was loud by 6:30 pm and server was slow in taking our order.
Great experience in all ways. I have dined here for over 25 years and still consider it the best restaurant in Seattle. This time it was for a special celebration for six individuals. We had appetisers, a variety of entrees and mixed drinks. Everyone was very pleased w the food, service, ambiance and pricing. We will all be back soon in 2026.
For consistently, delicious food, with excellent wait staff the 4th Ave. Wild Ginger is always a treat

Absolutely wonderful! We went for Christmas Eve and had a fantastic waiter, amazing food and great ambiance!
I have been to Wild Ginger a dozen times over as many years and the food quality has definitely slipped I'm sad to say. Fair to middling at premium prices.
We had a great meal. Our waiter, David was very attentive and did extra things that made our meal better. I loved that he brought us warm plates for our shared dishes. We will go back again. Also the music was at a level ( lower) that made conversation easy.
Excellent food and service. If you like high qualityThai food this is the place in downtown Seattle.
Dinner with friends. Food was good as usual. Didn't come out evenly but a bit at a time. As we went sharing dishes a bit awkward, but not a big deal. Waiter was pleasant. A nit- no Asian beer of any type on the menu, which is sort of a miss in my book. Also out of their mousse dessert upstairs, but they did have it for their club( triple door) downstairs. Otherwise a consistent experience with good dishes. 7 flavor beef is so good :-)
