We stopped in twice in the same day. Service and drinks were amazing. The second time we stopped in we didn’t realize they close mid day. They seated us and served us and didn’t say anything. We didn’t realize until later and we didn’t know. The staff was amazing and so welcoming. Food was absolutely fantastic. The duck and the beef were so great. Highly recommend!

Though I love this place we had a quite different experience this time where we waited for placing our food at least 15 minutes after we sit down then we waited another 30 minutes for the food to be brought out and on the top of that the restaurant charged almost double the amount on our credit card which we had to dispute (still in progress) and, food was also mediocre. I will try different place for our lunches from now on.
Excellent service at the bar! Food superb. Bartender went out of his way to make our experience enjoyable (it was our first time in and we were celebrating a birthday!). Unfortunately, this Wild Ginger closes at 8:00pm on Mondays. I'm unsure why OpenTable allowed us to make a 7:45pm reservation?!? Again, the bartender was gracious about asking me for our food and drink order(I had about twelve minutes to make dinner choices), and definitely allowed us to finish our meal while he was closing down the bar. He even had the kitchen prepare a birthday desert while we finished our drinks! Give that wonderful man a raise! He saved the night for us!!!
Good place to chat after work but the food is not quite expected. The lamb is a bit bitter and the spring rolls are too oily but maybe it’s just me.

A solid five star. They offer a great mix of entrees. The four of us split Butter Chicken and Pad Thai.
The butter chicken contained huge chunks of chicken and the butter sauce was out of the world. The Pas Thai was made with fish sauce, which added a new flavor profile. Wild Ginger is worth a visit.

Probably one of my favorite places to eat next to the main house downtown Wild Ginger. The McKenzie has a very causal dinning experience and the Fusion Asian food is always delicious. They do have some of the dishes from the Mother Restaurant, but the satay and main course has a different style. Since we always have the lamb or Chicken satay at Wind Ginger Downtown, we get the mushrooms. My recommendation if you are sea food lover. Appetizer, Tuna Tartar, and Main, Sea Bass with Peanuts.
Food and service are great.

My dad and I loved this place! I moved back to Seattle recently, and Wild Ginger is a place we will return to. Our meals were prepared to perfection, and tasted extraordinarily good!! Also the people working at Wild Ginger were kind, and provided wonderful service!
Celebratory Dinner with Family and Friends. Food, service and environs were all spot on. One memorable night!
Wild Ginger is consistent - whatever is there on the menu tastes decent coupled with great service. The ambience is non distinctive. You wouldn’t know you are sitting at Wild Ginger or some other restaurant.

Simply another amazing dinner! We had two guests that had dietary issues and all were overcome and had a wonderful experience!
Excellent Sea Bass with peanuts and herbs, always delicious with attention to food allergies. Seven flavor Beef is also always delicious! Prices have gone up and even a small bowl of rice is extra.. Will only go for special occasions, not weekly. FABULOUS service.
Love this place. Seven spice beef - stunning!

Love this place. Seven spice beef - stunning!
We got a takeout of green curry and pad thai. This was the most bland Thai food I ever tasted. The ratings are misleading. The green curry did not have any flavors of basil, lemongrass, it was more like an Indian coriander paste curry. The pad thai was boiled noodles with peanuts on it. Extremely disappointing. Nothing wrong with the staff or the ambiance. This is not Thai food.
