I popped in to grab a cinnamon roll to go earlier. The inside is super cute so I'll definitely be back to try dining in. The enormous cinnamon rolls were in a case at the front. The bartender boxed mine up along with extra icing for an extra dollar. I split it with my partner when I got home, plenty for two people. The extra icing was a good move so you'd never have a bite not covered. It's not a gooey cinnamon roll but not dry, great cinnamon flavor, delicious icing. I'll definitely come back.

I love this cafe. First, I love the ambiance, feels like your going in for a home cooked meal. It's really neat that the cafe is in a home and you can eat in different parts of the house. Mismatched tableware, simple meals. They have the best cinnamon roll in the PNW! Service is great. I truly believe the best part of this restaurant is the story behind it and how it makes you feel!

Cute brunch spot in a house. Very attentive and friendly service, seating was cozy and comfortable. It's Da Bomb BFast Burrito - it's exactly as described, but the refried beans tasted kind of like curry? Burrito filling could've used a bit more salt or some hot sauce in addition to the salsa.Persian French Toast - the syrup was really tart, almost unpleasantly tart. The toast was a bit plain otherwise. Ham was good.Overall pretty good, would like to come back to try cinnamon rolls!

Heavy, stick to your bones brunch fare in a Homey, family oriented interior. Gluten-Free eggs benedict ($17.25) - I got these because they were served on the garlic potato cakes - omg, these are like crack. If they don't come with your entree, get one on the side. Eggs perfectly poached with a rich, buttery hollandaise. I don't like Canadian Bacon so that was okay. The homemade cinnamon roll was phenomenal ($6.75). Get it. Warm, fluffy dough with delicious cinammon flavor and gooey cream cheese icing. BF got the La Cabana ($16.75), I tried a bite and it was okay. Warm, inviting staff. If you come for brunch on a weekend you will likely have to wait.

How did I not know this place existed?! It was a lovely breakfast, delicious food and a charming environment featuring some local artists. We actually stumbled upon this place because many other breakfast places are closed on Tuesday, but this is one of the few places in North Seattle open Tuesday mornings. A delightful find, fresh taste, friendly staff. Feels like you're in a house... because it's clearly a repurposed home, but I dig that vibe. Nothing uniform about the furniture, but I find that endearing.

Lovely lunch with two of my kids. Atmosphere was cozy and charming. Like going to a friend's house. We sat in a sunny corner surrounded by art and a view of the plants outside. Food was fresh and healthy. Service was perfect. Will be returning soon. Thursday afternoon wasn't too loud or busy.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, lots of drinks options, wholesome atmosphere, no tv screens that I saw

Super fire food & service. Lil pricey though.

The Mac and cheese was very dissapointing. It tasted as if the flour wasn't all the way in cooperated when they made the roux for the cheese sauce, making the texture of the Mac and cheese grainy. The Mac and cheese also tasted off, since the flour wasn't incorporated fully, and it just wasn't great. The roasted garlic potato cakes had so much garlic and salt that they were inedible. My boyfriend and I love garlic, however it was too much even for us. The cinnamon roll was dissapointing because even though it was freshly baked, it was just sitting in a glass cabinet, getting stale. We saw the waitress go over and grab it and bring it to us, not even heating it up or anything. Kind of made me feel uneasy that the food was just sitting uncovered in what was essentially a china cabinet The frosting was a sticky, solid mess and there was way too much, easily double what the picture shows. Overall this was just a dissapointing brunch.

Restaurant is messy and a very noisy environment. Food is mediocre. Did not see the appeal of the lauded potato cake. Good coffee.

TLDR: the carb options were the best part of this meal, egg dishes not as memorable. Potato cakes and cinnamon roll were particularly excellent! The potato cakes are basically flat topped garlicky mashed potatoes, and the cinnamon roll was soft and served warm. I also loved how they had house made strawberry jam for your toast option! Each had a unique twist to it and we were very happy about what we ordered! For egg dishes we tried the kitchen sink scramble which was nothing special, as well as the cabana. It's basically a Mexican breakfast casserole. There were 4 parties ahead of us on a Sunday at noon, but the tables turned over relatively quickly.
