The rice is so disgusting I felt like throwing it away the whole time and buying something else entirely
I rarely rate things this low but bottom line is that you can get better food from the frozen section of the grocery store. Skip this place unless it's a last resort. $40 for 1 adult and a 4 year old to have a small portion entre, lo mein, and egg roll.

My kid had a craving for raw broccoli and their staff were so nice to accommodate the special request. Thanks!

$60 for two small entrees (listed as Large) and two cans of soda. Took forever even with no line, and both diners abandoned our meals before finishing. Avoid this place like the plague.

If you're expecting to get a drink, and recently turned 21 and still have a vertical liscence, they will turn you down even if it's an enhanced ID that not only has your birthday on it, but also a specific date for when you turn 21.
Pretty diabolical rule idk

I’m from California I had a bad experience I got a meal for my daughter and it was $25 couple days later check my bank and I saw a charge of $82.25 and theres no way to get in touch with them ??????????????????
I enjoyed the food when I visited on a recent trip. I got The General's Chicken with the fried rice. It was pretty good. On the tough comments, I could see how that would happen since they make the food and it sits on a warmer till they are out and make a new batch. I was fortunate that they just made a fresh batch of fried rice and it was good! I happened to witness the chef taste the food with a plastic single use spoon to make sure the flavor was on point. That seems to be a dying trend unless you go to a real restaurant. I wonder if you could ask them to make a new batch just for your meal if they would do that. I liked how the chicken was not overly breaded. You get more chicken than bread for sure.

Had never been here before. Can understand why. Food is not great. Had fried rice and general tsao chicken that made china express from Safeway seem gourmet.
Not much else to say.

$18 for 1 entree, before tax and tip screen.
1/2 the portion size as standard panda express and not nearly as good. Tastes, looks, and is packaged a lot like a TV dinner. Bland noodles. Dry chicken that seems like it's been under a heat lamp for an hour. Possibly the worst choice in the armory. Hard pass.

Chinese food in a pinch without the flavor you would expect.
Picked this place as it seemed to be the most flavorful and healthy option in the Seattle Armory. However, the food tasted average. The organge chicken just tasted like glazed chicken and didn't have the flavor I was expecting from a Chinese eatery. A bit expensive for what you get.
Plenty of space to sit. Friendly service.

Today, curiosity killed the cat. I just had to try the khao soi. It's pretty bad, but not as bad as the fried rice. My entire experience was a friendly letdown. The service and the presentation of my dish were the highlights. Luckily, it was fresh enough and made well enough to eat.... but I did think about just tossing it a few times.
For starters. My server was super nice, but for sure let me order without mentioning that the dish I ordered only came in one size and meat option despite being in the 'pick your options' menu. I had to ask why they didn't clarify size and meat before getting the explanation.
I enjoyed their layout that let me watch them cook the food while I wait. I was impressed by how clean everything looked. I was originally memorized watching them prepare everything in such a clean space, but as I watched I looked at the fried rice being cooked and it just looked odd. Then I looked over at my food and also noticed it looked odd despite all being fresh. So I stopped watching and roamed the area for a bit.
When I came back to get my order, I noticed the side of fried rice the dish came with was entirely too small. They did, however, stuff it fairly full. The khao Soi itself looked ok enough to want to snap a quick photo.
Fast forward to me actually eating the food. it tasted odd and so did the textures. Especially the fried rice. Even the condiments had an odd taste. Instead of being able to enjoy my meal I was confused and skeptical if I should even eat. The one thing that saved it was the fresh veggies. The most interesting part of the dish were the crispy ish noodles. They had a stale initial texture that turned into more of a peanutty cracker texture and flavor as it broke down. As my food cooled it got more interesting looking.
While I was eating I had flashbacks of the chefs. Working hard and doing everything right. Where did things go so wrong. From what I could see, everything was there, even the fresh veggies and wok fried aspect. Must be their sauce. I bet they have to use a company standard pre-made sauce. Idk. In the end, I'm left with Panda Express vibes, but you pay a premium from the wok experience. And hey, I kept eating it. I also can't act like I didn't order this in a food court.
