Amazing sandwiches, especially the carnitas Cuban and spicy chicken parm. Fun drinks as well!
The chicken parm was packed with flavor and the bread was expertly toasted. Miles was an awesome server tonight! Lastly, the vibes were fantastic and I love the open concept.
The drinks are so tasty and the food is INSANELY GOOD. Haley Mayer makes a fantastic atmosphere and drink ;)
This continues to be one of my go to spots in Greenlake. The window game out towards Greenlake is perfect for views. The food, I really love the grilled cheese they have.
Long story short, they ran out of food yet still wasted their customers time and money instead of just being upfront with it.
We waited about 30 minutes to be seated, which we were fine with. However, at no point during the wait (or even after we were seated) were we told that the kitchen was out of over half the menu items (8 out of 15 entrees), including every single pizza.
We ordered drinks, and only after they were brought to our table were we informed of the limited menu. At that point, we decided to leave. If you live in the area, you already know Greenlake is not known for its nightlife. Most other restaurants in the area close early. Despite that, we were still charged $30 for two drinks, one of which wasn't even alcoholic. Given the lack of communication, our drinks should have absolutely been comped.
Anyways, whoever does your ordering/inventory/management should strongly consider a new line of work. It's a restaurant, it's not that hard.
Staff good, service decent, beers and cocktails seemed good although I wasn't drinking. Setting and atmosphere very nice. Just really let down by the food. Just about everything too oily and/or deep fried and not very tasty. Was left with upset stomach afterwards so not 100% on their food safety. Would not eat there again.
I love the Tacoma location of Wooden City, so I recommended my friend to go to this location, since we’re in the area. The food was fine (waitress did not ask for how we liked our meat or our allergies), I was taken aback of the smaller menu options compared to the Tacoma location, but that’s on me for not looking at the menu prior.
Everyone was welcoming, however our waitress (Eliana) seemed to be ignoring us and got my order wrong. My friend noticed that she was more attentive to other tables rather than our’s and didn’t write down our order on paper like the other 2 people tables. We had to ask other staff (3 different people throughout our meal) to help us. I felt, if I didn’t tell the another staff before her that my order is wrong, then it wouldn’t have been comped.
I didn’t expected my meal to be comped, as I didn’t even realized I was eating the wrong burger til my second bite (I was hungry lol), and I expressed it was fine, I didn’t want to put it to waste — just change the item on the receipt. So, I’m glad the overall team is considerate and happy to help!
I hope more training is done and future customers don’t have to experience what we’ve experienced.
An airy and welcoming space with floor to ceiling windows and green lake park view. We tried the buffalo chicken, tavern burger and spicy chicken parm, all were delicious.
Food was good. ambience nice. but honestly wouldn't be my first pick for neighborhood spot. they have lots of large TVs and on Sat had no local games on. when asked, was told they don't have the channels. seemed odd for a place that advertised as local but is showing games from out of state. service was OK.
We loved our Wooden City in Spokane so when we moved home to Seattle we couldn't wait to try the Green Lake location. AMAZING. Food and drinks were just as delicious (always order a side of croutons with your caesar salad, they're deep-fried and perfection)! Staff was wonderful and very pleasant, timing was great, the restaurant is beautiful. 100% would recommend to anyone.

I was visiting from Canada and stopped in here and the whole visit was fantastic. The GM is great and has a great staff. And the food was incredible! Don't pass up a chance to check this place out.

I come here more often than I’d like because this is a friend’s favorite place (FWIW i think she’d give it four stars).
The food here is inexplicably mediocre. It seems like a lot of the menu could be good, but I keep finding myself underwhelmed. I am writing this review tonight because I ordered chicken tenders, and they were garbage. I don’t know how you mess up chicken tenders, but the chicken was flavorless and appeared to be boiled. It seems like the chicken tenders is the same chicken mass that they use in their chicken parmesan sandwiches.
Their fries are ok, and the fried artichokes are pretty good some nights and less good others (inconsistent prep?).
I don’t understand why the food here is such a miss. The pizza could be great (the crust is great, the rest is not), the burgers are worse than fast food, and the caesar salad is flavorless. They probably need both a new head chef and a new cook. They charge seattle prices but the food quality begs to differ.

Food was good, decently priced, hard to hear due to acoustics. Servers seemed new and a little overwhelmed, but nice and helpful.
