Stopped here for one of 3 stops on a coffee tour of Seattle. Lovely flavored coffee and how they integrate the health and benefits of mushrooms. Good place to read and surf (books, internet or people!) Squash loaf was the best sweet bread dessert type I've had in a few years! And yes, it's leaps better than the big chain pumpkin loaf.

I’ve been trying an array of mushroom coffees and additives and this one is by far the best across all metrics. I really can’t say enough about the actual long benefits of the Brainwash product including helping to clear brain fog.

Lots of seating and the service is usually pretty friendly. The coffee is solid and the pastries are about average.
Unfortunately, I'm writing this review because I made the mistake of ordering their matcha today, which was probably the worst matcha latte I've ever had at a cafe in Seattle.
As someone who has matcha almost everyday, I was immediately concerned by the color, which was less grassy green and more grayish yellow. I said to my self it can't be that bad for a place that charges 6 dollars for a latte. I was wrong. It was disgusting and tasted of pure fish oil in milk.
In particular for matcha, I would strongly urge anyone to go to tailwind, atulea, or broadcast coffee instead. All 3 have much better matcha (and coffee) and are like a block away.

Overall great spot. Cute and Welcoming with solid coffee options and good bakery selection. Merch is available as well. Customer service was short & sweet but definitely helped me decide on what to get. Will stop in again if in the area!

The avacodo toast was pretty good, but barely any greens on it. And it's $11.95 ea!! On the menu listed via pic on google, it used to only be $8. So we were surprised by the price when we got there. That's way too expensive for a simple avacodo toast. The chai latte with the mushrooms mix was okay. A mildly sour taste to it, which wasn't my favorite, but I was happy to try it.

I absolutely love this cafe. The coffee, the food, and especially the service is fantastic. I'm taking away a star because of a recent change to their sandwiches. I always order the wunder egg sandwich, which comes with an egg patty, cheese, greens, and sauce. It used to come with bacon but now that's extra. Recently I ordered the sandwich and it was half the size it used to be at the same price. I'm really disappointed. I wish the price at least somewhat reflected the size change, or the size change wasn't as drastic. I know inflation is crazy but this just feels disrespectful to loyal customers.
