Xi'an Noodles is a small outlet located inside a food court in Westlake mall. Their menu may not be extensive, but they execute their dishes well and quickly. The lamb soup is a highlight, with a good amount of lamb for the price, but be warned that it's very spicy, so be sure to ask for a glass of water. The Mount Qi Pork Biang noodles are also spicy and flavorful, with amazing pork and a great chewy texture. The beef and noodles (no soup) are thick and spicy, though some customers noted there wasn't a lot of beef. The ordering process is unique, as customers use a touchscreen display to customize their orders. The sitting area is clean, making it a nice spot for lunch. Note that the restaurant closes at 7pm, and mall security will escort customers out at that time. While the food is super great, takeaway soup packaging can be unreliable. Despite some limitations, Xi'an Noodles is a decent option for a quick meal in a clean atmosphere.
