If you like your chicken on the dry side, this place is the best.
If you don't... maybe go somewhere else, but don't leave a bad review for the dryness because a lot of people come here for that.

Family owned minimal menu but really amazing half chicken! super nice people.
Stopped by after a busy day and was sad to see I had just arrived after closing. As I was walking away, the lights came on and they invited me inside. The staff was incredibly kind despite the late hour. I ordered a #2 and was served a generous portion of teriyaki cooked just the way I like it and chopped to order behind the counter. Tender, good char, moist, and more than enough to leave me feeling full. Looking forward to visit again soon!
Absolutely the best pork teriyaki in Seattle, and I love that half chicken it is absolutely heaven.. I come to this place three maybe four times a month sometimes more the food is always the same and is prepared wonderfully I would highly recommend them

This place is dirty and depressing. The food comes out so quick you know it's just been sitting around. The chicken is really dry. The best part is I ordered spicy chicken teriyaki, which wasn't spicy. So I grabbed the siracha off the counter and took it to my table. The lady came out and grabbed it because I guess that's the only bottle they have. Didnt say a word and grabbed it. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. You can't be rude and have bad food.

I lived in my first apartment around the corner from yasukos. That was almost 40 yrs ago . The food is just as good today as it was then . I live in California now but make it a point to always stop there for the best teriyaki in Seattle.

I got 2 orders of chicken teriyaki and 2 sodas here and for some reason that was $40? The chicken and the beef were dry and tasted like they had been frozen. Barely any sauce on the meat, when we asked if they had extra sauce they made me pay for a little cup of it after i had already paid. Then later the food made me sick. Lol dont go here, i usually would never write a bad review but this was pretty bad.

I got the chicken breast teriyaki and was significantly disappointed. It was so dry that it I literally had to wash it down with a literally of water. The sauce was nothing to write home about. The staff wasn't rude but wasn't necessarily friendly either. Definitely not somewhere where I will be spending my money again.

This is the greatest teriyaki on the West Coast. The half chicken is what you want. It's marinated like forever and is so good. The cabbage is also good, and if you let a little of the vinegar from the cabbage and some teriyaki sauce soak into the rice, it explodes with flavor.
