I was visiting Seattle and wanted an authentic teriyaki shop. I stumbled upon this gem that met the criteria of limited menu, sun-bleached signs, and general questionable atmosphere, and I knew I had to stop in.
I'm glad I did. I ordered the boneless chicken breast plate with extra meat. It landed around $20 total, which did feel a bit pricey for the serving, but it mostly filled up my girlfriend and I.
It was very tasty. And from what I've heard about...
Just doesn't taste the same...then I wanted to buy a side of chicken for my dog with my meal and they denied me which I almost just walked out but I was starving...very unfriendly won't go back
No frills hole in the wall in the best way possible. They’ve got a laser focus on making the best teriyaki I’ve had since I’ve lived in Seattle (15 yrs). Notice any negative reviews complain about the cabbage and dressing and “brown sauce.”
I read those and saw the 4.1 stars and thought “Oh, no! This place used to be amazing.” Well, I went back and it still is. If you like meaty, saucy, tender, salt-of-the-earth teriyaki, try it out and never mind the haters.
