We drove an hour to get here just to have them flip the sign to closed right in our face. They are supposed to close at 2pm not 1:42pm. If you are going to close earlier,
you need to advertise the correct time. Lazy work ethic. They missed out as we are good tippers. We will never return.

The food was really good. The ramen, meat and egg was perfectly cooked. Service was nice and polite. However, the restaurant is pretty small, they don't have enough space, and we were forced to wait for an hour on Saturday morning before being seated.

I came here with my fiance, not realizing that it was Seattle restaurant week. We didn't have reservations, but they managed to get us a table outside almost immediately. Our server & host Claudia was a total force of nature, gracefully walking us through the altered menu. We were in a bit of a hurry, and were fed, beer'd (she poured them for us while the bar was backed up!), and given the check inside of 20 minutes. Totally stellar and attentive service, and top quality ramen. Make sure to get zangi as well if you have the time :)

I love the Spam Fries, Sushi, and wonderful curry. I can't highly recommend this enough, and the service was wonderful.

We visited on a Wednesday night around 8 p.m., and it was packed, which speaks to the popularity of the place! The ramen was delicious—rich, flavorful, but same level as other ramen places. The octopus cake was not very memorable, though. I would skip that one.
The only minor drawback was that a couple of menu items were sold out, which seems to be a common occurrence based on other reviews. It’s understandable for a later evening on Wednesday, though. Service was efficient and straightforward, making for a smooth experience overall.
All in all, a solid spot for satisfying ramen—worth a visit if you're in the area!

my husband and i ate here tonight and the atmosphere here was very off. management did not help our server with anything. we watched her run all food, tables, and drinks the whole hour and a half we were there. the chicken tempinyaki was cold and flavorless. i would never recommend this establishment to anyone.

Highly recommend. Friday night during Seattle Food week and we got lucky without waiting too long. The host was nice and we had two servers - both of which were knowledgeable and friendly.
I got the zangi as an app and they were phenomenal. Great coating, juicy and tender. The yuzu spicy sauce is KILLER. the menu says chicken but I'm fairly certain I got pork tonight (the menu on their website, Google maps and in restaurant each had their own discrepancies, not a huge deal breaker for me).
Spicy Miso Chashu Men was my ramen choice and I would get it again. Although the menu says spicy I felt it was a 1.5 out of 5 on my scale, but my nose was still running halfway through the bowl. As others mentioned, wish we got the other half of the egg, they are cooked to perfection. Broth was rich, silky smooth and full of flavor. Looking forward to going back on a less busy night and trying more.

Food is excellent! However, I hope management can pick up on the commonalities on two of the problematic servers. Food is what attracts new customers, but service is what attracts people to go back. The entire service was rushed at 5:15pm on a Friday 11/1/24, the hostess was great given the state the floor was in. Our server with braided hair and glasses needs to slow down and would be a nearly pleasant experience if the check wasn't presented to us before we finished our meal and drinks and double check if the items we ordered were the "happy hour" portion. One other way that the server could have improved on is to ask if we would like to order anything else before presenting the handheld device to pay. We would definitely go back for the food, but would liked to be served by a different person or via a QR code if that was an option in the future.

I am sensitive to spice so intentionally chose the fisherman ramen that wasn't listed with anything spicy but the primary broth has chili oil so I couldn't eat any of it. I told the waitress and she said, it's not spicy which felt very gaslighty lol. Bad time.
One of my favorite Japanese food restaurant! since im japanese, you can trust meon this, haha

We didn’t have a reservation on a Friday night and just got lucky that a table for two was just leaving. The wait was very whort while they tidied up.
We quite enjoyed our dinner: seasonal yuzu mackerel ramen and fisherman ramen. It was about $20pp for food only.
I can see why they aren’t as popular as pork-ramen spots, as Americans seem to prefer the tonkatsu/pork style ramen, but I wanted something a little different. I thought the noodles were perfectly cooked, the protein had an amazing texture and flavor (it is easy to overcook seafood and make it rubbery), and the broth was flavorful and hearty (good body) without excess salt. I saw that some people complained about excess carbs in the tsukemen, but I felt that my ramen had way more seafood and veggies than I expected. To be honest, I enjoyed the noodles so much that I was a little sad when I had finished my portion. I was quite full at the end but it was so delicious that my bowl was pretty much empty (except for broth).
The customer service was prompt, attentive, and warm — which is not the standard for Seattle. I enjoyed it.
Thank you for the positive experience. I would come back here readily!

Incredibly rude server. Had to walk out. There was nobody at the restaurant, and I'd called before I came in. And I politely asked to sit at a slightly larger table since I'm really tall and they snarkily said
"That's a table for 4, not for 2. You're going to have to sit at this one unless you order a lot of food."
There was nobody there! I understand if it's crowded but damn.

Ramen bowls we got were good. I got the Spicy Miso Chasu Men and I would recommend it. Wish it was a full solf boiled instead of a half. There were a few flies and mosquitoes flying around us.
